What does the little "+" mean next to the Black Dino Egg icon in the Shop?

It means you get a badge with the purchase of the Dino Egg

Yeah you get the badge for it, there was a glitch earlier whereby you could drag it out of the catalog and click buy and received the badge. Apparently it's now been patched and the badges removed.
