Have you ever been hated irl by a ton of people?

I was. In late 2010 I edited pictures of this fat girl and showed someone who ended up telling her. Me and my best friend, mainly me, were hated by like 10+ girls (out of the 50 in our year group). But I'm friends with nearly all of them now and none of them hate me, they actually like me more than the girl I edited pics of lol.

How about you and why?

wow. i've only seen you post 3 times and within half an hour, have to say you're not making a good impression.

anyway, not by a ton of people all at once but one time this girl took hash (some sorta weed idk) in to school and i told my friend's mum. she called the school who called her parent's and there was a huge thing about it. this girl then told everyone her mum threw her out and she was living in a tent. it turned into the whole group (maybe around 10) hating me even though i really did nothing wrong. a few months later her sister told us she was lying about the tent so i got hated for no reason and no-one seemed to care that she'd lied.

oh in gymnastics everyone disliked me because i was good at it, there were 3 groups; beginning, intermediate and higher. i went from beginner straight to higher and those who started with me were not happy (5 main people). resulted in my clothes going missing in to the showers and getting pushed out of the way for the airtrack or being picked to clean up all the equipment at the end.

i must be an unlikeable person aha but i'm totally over it. i talk to these people as normal and forget what they did most the time.

Anyway not really, I don't do much to frustrate a vast amount of people so if someone dislikes me then it's because of something I done which only affected them.

what... I'm saying it because if you wouldn't even be SEEN in a charity shop even in a foreign country you must desperately seek some sort of acceptance from others, and if at one point in your life many people hated you should that not have sent you into a spiral of depression

I didn't get depressed in the slightest, I brushed it off and now everything's fine.

Errrm I haven't been hated by "a ton" of people but I was sort of blocked out for a couple of months from some of the people at college because I broke up with my gf and they were her friends. start of year 7 everyone hated me because a **** (who everyone hates now, karma *****) thought it'd be totally fun to make everyone laugh by calling me a prostitute/racist comments whenever he saw me around school lol... totally an 11 year old prostitute:S it did get to me in the end because i ended up walking out of my maths CRYING and blablabla i had to report him. then my older cousin came to the school and no one dared to say anything again. /problemsolved :)

oh and the WHOLE school hated me for the first 2 yrs because of my appearance lmao, changed now anyway. grudge 4 life, stopped early year 8:-).

Had a massive rumour go around about me (from my ex) which wasn't true and then when people found out my ex was lying, they all hated her. pretty good how it all turned out :)

That was deserved and immature to do that. I won't even go into your second statement about charity shops.

Anyway, I won't go to online. But offline, rarely hated, especially now. I'm more easy going type of guy now, who I don't think would infuriate many.

I know one time, some guy hated me a few years back because I went to his house and didn't affectionately greet his parents. He's Argentinian, so I probably didn't get the culture thing there. He's cool with it all now.

Also, don't think it's too 'off-topic' when the post is simply replying to another post, relevant to the discussion with an opinion. Don't get why all that was moderated.

I don't think I was ever 'hated' (well i hope not) people have disliked me before. In high school not really, there was some people i fell out with but hey ho. in primary school i used to get bullied quite alot, just usual kiddy banter really. I remember though one nearly my whole year group didn't like me and wouldn't talk to me because I won a competition and got an mp3 which held like 10/20 songs and speakers lol (it was so high tech back then) then they stole it off me and had to tell the headteacher which then probably turned to them disliking me even more and was called a 'snitch' and 'teachers pet' the usual really. o and they beat me up as well. went crying home to my mummy :(.

Yes.

Year 5, 6, 7, 8 + part of 9 I was hated by a lot of people because some **** decided to make up a rumour that I was in love with a man in year 5 + that I'd said to "the man" that I was in love with him :rolleyes:. Got carried to secondary school + put me right at the bottom of the 'social ladder' because people in my school are not very...accepting... towards people who are gay/bi/les.

But yeah, the rumours got even worse and stupider until I've ended up with all these apparently happening;

- Me "touching up the man" under a desk
- Me proposing to the man
- Me ........ over the man constantly
- "The man" being my dream boyfriend.

The rumours ruined me a lot + got me a lot of hate, it's improved in the last 2 yrs but is still pretty bad but hey, I learnt to survive independently in school so I'm not that fussed about them anymore. But it did "get to me" in the past lol.
