Ok so I tweeted PaulLaFo this:

'@PaulLaFo People get banned for posting fansite links which mods believe are 'scamsites'. How can they not know the difference?'

I had this reply:

'@maggots_habbo looking at the site and tracking complaints of scamming. Scam sites are pretty obvious in the larger picture.'

So from this tweet I got that mods look at scam reports from the site and the website in question to check it and ban the user. But they obviously don't check the websites very well otherwise people wouldnt get banned in the first place?

Obviously I'm on about bans from posting about bigger fansites like Habbox, ones with a good reputation. I know people who have been banned multiple times for posting Habbox links (Yes, they were habbox.com not those habbox.tk.org.net.com whatever) and if they use this scam check, site check system they shouldnt of banned?

I found this interesting so I thought I'd post it here, opinions?

He doesn't really have much of a good reason IMO.
If they had a dep about making fansites official surely he should know? :S

That really isn't a good response IMO. He really needs to get his motives straight.
