I'm so ashamed of not finding this woman until she appeared on fun.'s hit 'We Are Young'. Her videos tell wonderful stories and the music in them is really good to click along to at home!
Particularly look at 'Cold War' for vocals and 'Tightrope' for the song in general. If you like a bit of a story, watch the short film 'Many Moons'. She deserves to have been more recognised before that kind of alright song by fun..

I love that people are beginning to notice her but I am a bigger fan of the first 'Metropolis' suite with 'Many Moons', 'Sincerely, Jane' and 'Violet Stars, Happy Hunting'. Check those out too! That isn't to say I don't love the third suite. 'Come Alive (The War Of The Roses)' is my favourite off of the album.
