Okay I'll try and respond to more after, but this sounds good. What type of agency is this? In Melbourne we have some where they find you a job .. did they take a while for you to get a job?

no way do they pay that well. I thought all low cost airlines ripped off their staff as a way of cost cutting - or is that just Ryanair :-)

Ryanair also get a similar pay.... It's only American low cost airlines that rip their pilots off.

I'm glad to see a few of us that work on here, can't stand the dole.. If some people choose to do that fair enough but i think work makes the day go quicker than sitting doing nothing allday.. Also more respectful.

Job: HVAC/R Technician
Pay: Varys. Service calls: $50-$80 to just go out. Then another $50-$80 per hour. Not including a part or servicing if needed. If you own your own company, 1 man, or 1 father and a son. Or something like that. Then you really do not go by the pricing said above. Let's say You live 30 minutes away, 8PM at night, No heat. We come out there $80. Take a look, test out stuff. Your problem comes out to be that you have a bad ignitor. That right there is $150. You do the $80 + $150 + tax. (if check) no tax if cash. THIS IS JUST 1 EXAMPLE. HVAC/r Technicians are licensed & qualified with everything. Most Technicians are contractors as well. Like myself. I can do HVAC/R Technician work, installations, contracting, plumbing, electrician, landscaping, carpentry, etc.
Experience: I have almost 2 years. Field Work > Book Work (Know more than people who are licensed)
Education/Qualification:In my case, None. My father has taught me. By I am 18-19, I will have all my licenses. I am however qualified for all work.
Age: 16.

THATS GOOD SHANE WHAT YOU ON ABOUT
Haha I guess that might be good but its all taxed, most shops/bakeries in Melbourne give you some cash money, I.e. tax free! The old man offered me 750a week and 150 cash, but if he is sincere I dunno.
Depending on my workload I might accept the offer, but there's A LOT of stress behind managing someone else's shop!!
Also, five years is a hellova long time, especially at only 21 :(
Let us know how you get on!? :)
Went as good as any talk with a boss goes! He accepted that I will want to learn pastries and the such like that and not just bread so yeah. He said I should work 4 days with them Nd 2at dads.. I'm thinking 3-3 , that way I havent got much responsibilities at the current job!

I've been doing work in landscaping. It isn't hard to net twenty to thirty dollars an hour! It's sweaty and hard, though.

There are careers in everything that interests you! For example:
Jagex Careers (http://www.jagex.com/careers/)
I wish you all the luck in finding a job if that is what you so desire! What prompted you to depart from the catering industry?

Been looking for a job to start as soon as my last exam is over, my application for a job as a ski rep was declined, and the interview I went to for CineWorld had 60 people! I had no chance, most of them had degrees.
I'm considering relocating to Australia for work, I hear there are many more jobs available over there, and the pay is better.
