Who is your favourite hero or superhero?
What is your favourite form of superhero media? (Film, comic, graphic novel, cartoon etc)
What is your favourite superhero film?

My favourite superheros are Captain America and Iron Man
Freaking love the captain america film (except the ending really annoyed me)
And Iron man just because he doesn't act all self righteous like most other superheroes to him its just more about having fun and messing around than saving the world

Oh and in The Avengers trailer
Captain America: Big man in a suit, take that away what are you?
Tony Stark: A... genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist
Thor: (LAUGH)

as well as

Loki: We've got an army...
Tony: We've got a hulk.

1) Spider-Man
2) Film
3) Spider-Man (the first one)

Personally, I like the Spider-Man films the best because they are by far the most relatable and true to life when it comes to emotions and the self, and I like a film I can get emotionally involved in. Really looking forward to the fabulous Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man in a few months.

Spider-Man 3 isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, it's just it wasn't as good as Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. There's some really good material in there, they just tried to do too much.

They shouldnt of killed the symbiote off in one movie, especially since there was so many paths they could've took with it being that theres so many symbiote villains

Why would they even want to take it in any more directions? The film is cramped as it is.

Spiderman, Film, Spiderman.

I love the movies and agree that they are the ones you can relate to the most. Not sure how I feel about The Amazing Spiderman though, will have to watch it and see..

I dont mean take the symbiote further in spiderman three, but theres so many enemies in the spiderman comics that revolve around it that they could have made more films. Also I dont think the original spiderman should have started off with Green Goblin as the enemy, it should of started off as one of the lesser known enemies like the lizard and progress up the scale to reach the more undefeatable enemies like the green goblin and venom

Green Goblin was as good a villain as any. His presence helps establish the whole comic book universe, and not to mention is key development for not only Spider-Man but also Peter Parker, and Green Goblin ensures the the dynamic between Spider-Man and Harry Osborne exists, which is a main plot point in both Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3.

Omg.... I LOVE IRON MAN SO MUCH UGH. Captain America was great but, I agree with you, the ending was annoying. I wanted him to end up with the girl. :(

Fav would be.. um.. probs Iron Man. I do love them all though tbh.
I love films so it'd have to be film.
UMMMMMMMMMM Iron Man.

I can't wait for the avenger thing ha.

"The anvenger thing" I'm very disappointed with that comment :P The avengers will be the biggest film of 2012, possibly the century.

Biggest film of 2012? Are you talking about The Hobbit? The Dark Knight Rises is also out this year, and I wouldn't doubt The Amazing Spider-Man, The Bourne Legacy and Prometheus so much. As for the century... that's one hundred years, you know. I highly doubt The Avengers is going to be the biggest film ever for one hundred years.

As a singular film, it's The Dark Knight. As a series, it's Spiderman.

The big three films of this year will be the Avengers, The Hobbit and The Dark Knight Rises. Haven't even heard of Prometheus, I don't think the Bourne legacy will do too well at the box office. The Amazing Spiderman will do well but I think in terms of box office success it will be fourth behind the hobbit, with the dark knight coming second to the avengers. If another twilight comes out this year, that will change everything...

Favourite superhero? Batman
Favourite form of superhero media? Film, although recently i've been watching some of the old X-Men & Spiderman cartoons on Netflix.
Favourite superhero film? The Dark Knight.

I'm personally not looking forward to the new Spiderman film, but i'll give it a watch.
& I am stupidly excited for The Avengers and the new Batman film being released. asdnkjsandjkasd.

The only way the Avengers will be a 'bigger' movie than The Hobbit in 2012 is because The Hobbit is released at the end of the year. The Avengers isn't even competition, is there really any doubt The Hobbit won't be more successful? It's between that and The Dark Knight Rises in my opinion. And Prometheus is Ridley Scott's new film, prequel to Alien.

The advertisement for the Avengers has been huge, think of the run up films to it, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, each advertising it at the end. It will bring in a huge audience, obviously The Hobbit will do well financially but I would bet my car that the avengers will gross more. You're also bias to the whole tlotr franchise though so I knew you'd disagree :P

But the advertising campaign for The Hobbit has even begun yet, how do you know it won't be more elaborate than The Avengers? Not to mention it's riding off of the success of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, while The Avengers is essentially a sequel to a bunch of mediocre films. Didn't your car get mashed up or was that someone else? Can't be confident if you're betting scraps. :8

Haha, it’s in the garage getting repaired ;) It doesn’t matter if it hasn’t begun yet, They aren’t bringing out a series of films prior to it; which have all been successful individual films themselves, unless I’ve missed the announcement. I can’t believe you have the cheek to call them mediocre :P Sure, Iron man 2 wasn’t a work of art, but Captain America and Thor were both excellent!

Captain America was dire. The first half was great then it got swallowed by cliches. Thor was decent, but nothing more than the average action blockbuster. The Hobbit will absolutely decimate The Avengers in the long run, and I'm willing to bet you that. (;

I guarantee the Avengers will make more at box office, it appeals to everyone, something which the Hobbit doesn’t. Also with the Avengers being in 3D, the tickets are more expensive by roughly £2 which means it will be easier for it to generate more than the Hobbit. If you’re willing to bet, I’ll happily wager with you :P

Highest grossing films of all-time:
5. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
18. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
25. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Yeah, I guess Middle Earth doesn't appeal to the masses.

I guarantee The Hobbit will make more than The Avengers.

The Hobbit is also in 3D by the way. Herp derp.

This explains why they think The Avengers will gross more than The Dark Knight Rises, and let's face it, The Dark Knight Rises will definitely gross more than the hobbit.
