Right basically, i have a twin brother and he honestly drives me crazy and everynight he snores and keeps me up. i just wanna know what i should do about his constant snoring and so i can get on with him more. we're so different, his interests are sports and mine are completely different.

How do i get into a more closer bond with my brother?

First of all with the snoring, get some breathe-easy strips opens the nazal passages or get him to apply a small bit of vicks to his chest to open his airwaves better.

Me and my brother never got on when we were younger, but gradually over time we've got a bit closer and found some common ground. If you can find any common ground try showing some interest in what he likes even if you have to feign it .

You should maybe start to show some knowledge in your brothers interests and spend more time with him, when appropriate. Maybe also try to compromise and face him with a friendly but not freaky attitude.

Not sure if this makes sense but I do this with all my family members.

I've never had to share a room with anyone, except at sleepovers. Without actually stopping your brothers snoring, I've found the best way to sleep with the snoring is to get to sleep before them, or put on some headphones with music you like or earplugs.

With my brother, I just give him his space and talk whenever he's in a good mood.

I know I'm not much help, but yeah. ;)

one of them things you kinda have to grow up, get over + wait til you move out.

Buy earplugs and just wait. It's something which comes with time.

Unfortunately, you can't just bond with a family member with a click of your finger. It'll take time and effort to do it but there are ways to go about doing it. As others have said, try and show your support and enthusiasm to the things he likes and in turn, hopefully, he'll do the same to you. Most of the time you'll feel as though you're giving and not receiving anything back (which will be true) but you'll have to live with that.

Try to avoid speaking to him if he's in a bad mood or if he's doing something and speak to him when he's in a good mood and isn't busy - that way you'll get the most results from a conversation. Those are the only real things I can tell you to do because I'm no professional. Good luck getting him to like you! (Sorry if none of this makes sense).

Maybe you could find some websites/videos that he'd be interested in that at the same time you're interested in slightly and see if he'll explain about some of the stuff a little

Or offer to record him doing some football tricks and then put them on YouTube so you have something that both of you have an interest in.

LETS GET RID OF HIM.

On a serious note, I don't think its that easy to suddenly get along with a sibling in most cases. The only thing that often seems to help is distance

Like others have mentioned try those strip things what you put on your nose and they're meant to stop you snoring, or get some ear plugs. I sympathize with you because I can't stand it when someone is snoring it pisses me off so much (even though I do it myself). Anyways about the bonding thing James, he's your brother people are gonna come and go your brother will always be there (well in most cases). Just try and make more of an effort have a laugh with him or make a joke about something honestly it sounds silly but it works, I do it with my sister from time to time and then we get on for a bit laughing and joking.
