KS2 sports days sucked. Purely because I had to take part + was (still am) completely crap at sports lol.
KS3 + K34 are fine. There's only a certain no. of spaces and I never sign up for anything so I get to spend the whole day chilling and chatting to people :) (and relaxing in the sun usually... hasn't rained in any of my KS3 or KS4 sports days).

I skipped all sports days in secondary school (apart from one year which I genuinely missed it) as they were ****e , then the year I left they add interesting things like wheelchair basketball.

yes i was boss at egg races in primary school

lmfao
In primary school I used to find them fun. I remember we cheated in cross country and took a short cut through the school. lmao.
And in my secondary school, the only thing I ever competed in was swimming. On actual sports day only a select few people competed so we used to sit and pay no attention to what was happening and have a bbq. wooo

i loved sports day, mostly for the atmosphere. i always got picked to do long jump cause i was like the only good one in our class. was always fun i love a bit of competition but people would cheat by changing the score board :(
Dave.; egg races were easy all u had to do was put ur thumb on the egg after you'd gone and then take it off before the finish line. rebel.

Our school did weird sports such as Egg Catching, Welly Wanging.
We didn't do many sports days, one where we were teams of cats, I was in WildCats but I can't remember what I played. Think it was hockey or something.
Then in the other one we had to be teams named after countries. I was in team Ethiopia and won the Egg Catching, the boy in Ethiopia won too....Well when foods involved you can't go wrong.
However, i came last in the 200 or 400 metres lmao!

I hated it. I always tried to refuse doing it (they made me do it all, though), until it came to the relay and wheelbarrow race.
I'm just amazing at the wheelbarrow. (i was the one who crawled :3 )

I hated it. They'd put me down for things that I didn't want to do so I'd ask them to remove me and then they'd add me again. I got put down to do the triple jump despite saying no and removing myself from it loads so I just forgot my kit that day and didn't do it.

My primary school only really started doing school sport days when I was a senior, in grade 5 I just did nothing and in grade 6 I was a house captain so I was able to get out of it and um.. "help organize" instead.
Then we had like this regional sports day in grades 3-6 with local schools. I went the first year and had to do a running team relay. I was the last runner and our school had two teams running. At the end the lady gave me ribbons to give to my team, and I couldn't remember who my team was so I went around to everyone and said "did you just run?" Yeah I gave it to all the wrong people that was the last time I went to the regional sports day.
In high school I've been trying to get out of them we have 3 a year and this year so far I've gone to none but there's still one to go.

uh yeah i don't go to sports day. i always stay off or have a note to say i'm too 'sick' to do it.
Loved Sports Day. We don't have them over here but we did in my old school. We spent half the day doing sports day then spent the other half doing enterprise day (where we made stall and had games, water fights for charity etc) but we were never forced to do any sport activity! We had water fights on the oval and generally had a great time in the sun.

Loved school sports days. I'm naturally athletic so I always did the cross country and the athletics day. I suck with swimming so that I never participated in :)
I am amazing at running so I did the 1k/400m/800m/200m runs and the long jump!

always first in sackrace and running pmsl
eh in primary school i was like the fastest and always felt good cos i would win. (H)
then i got to secondary school... everyone just seems to be amazing now.
i usually do relay, javelin and high jump as i'm pretty good at them. i do enjoy it but i preferred it in primary school as everyone had fun and we got cute stickers.
i've never really participated in sports day at secondary school. it never really interested me as it's not something you have to do. however, i really enjoyed it at primary school. i was amazing in the sack races and egg and spoon races.
