What are the exact rules on spamming/flooding


It seems if I say 2 lines of lyrics I will be warned.

However various other members can spam freely and receive no warning/kick (whether its lyrics, DAI DAI DAI DAI DAI, or LMFAOO)


So is this simply staff targeting me and failing to do their job correctly, or what am I missing?

• Spamming in the room is not acceptable. A few lines of spam (having a laugh or joke is okay, but don't take it too far!) If you are genuinely having a conversation and the rest of the room is silent, this does NOT count as flooding/spamming.

So me doing 2-3 lines of lyrics is perfectly acceptable according to the rules (as it's only 2-3 maximum per screen) and it is indeed just staff targeting me?

Spamming 'DAI DAI DAI DAI' and 'LMFAOOOO' constantly isn't allowed as well then so why was nothing done when various staff members were active lol

To be honest i agree with your point. And i will admit i was spamming DAY DAY DAY aswell

It isn't staff targeting you, if anything, it's staff not enforcing the rules for everyone so you getting warned should be happening but others should also be getting warned. There's no point pretending you're some saint fighting against bureaucracy. Quite frankly, the lyrics you spam are often filled with sexism and racism and you should be warned for that more than the actual spamming.

The lyrics I "spam" aren't filled with racism or I'd be banned from the hotel or any of my accounts would, where as none are.

I didn't say I'm a saint fighting against it, I said i'm fed up of getting special rules applied to me and every other member doing the exact same thing essentially (spamming) and getting let off for it.

That's not really true though is it because moderators don't tend to bother if it's not reported. I'm sure if they were reported, you'd start getting banned. You aren't getting special rules applied to you. That's the point. They are the rules and so if 'every other member doing the exact same thing' are getting let off then it's more a problem with the hxhd staff not doing their job consistently rather than unfairly targeting you.

It's not though, 2 lines is NOT considered flooding. Yet I get warned for it. Other people spam 4+ lines which IS considered flooding and don't get warned/kicked for it?

Thats essentially saying ok Scott, 2 lines max. Ok inseriousity, 4 lines is fine. That is describing exactly what I'm saying with special rules being applied to me.

And if I was reported recently I'm very sure I'd be banned as mods have actually started doing their jobs (or at least take appropriate action when I report players for breaking the habbo way)

If managers actually had a presence in HxHD it may encourage staff to do their jobs properly aswell.. atm the only persons who is regularly in the room is xxMATTGxx; but he's only active when flirting with Chawk; or making Catchy; sick by dropping random furni.
