Hello,

I am coming to the end of my contract with o2 and I want to upgrade to an iPhone 4S. At the moment they have offered me:

Unlimited Calls
Unlimited Texts
1GB Internet
Free insurance

for £36 a month

Is this a good deal and more importantly do you think that 1GB internet usage per month will be enough for me? I use Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook quite a bit on my phone as well as streaming media.

+REP to all good replies

1GB is plenty and I'd say the majority of the time most people use Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hot spots lots of the time anyways. I have 500mb and I never go over.

Just looked at my usage and from having my iphone for over a year I've used 14.5gb so that's around 1gb a month. I use my iphone a lot throughout the day mainly on Twitter and HxF (addict :() so you should be fine!

You'll be hard pressed to get over 1GB anywhere.

I agree with the majority in this thread, try use wifi as much as you can just in case. However, I'm sure most mobile providers have an app too to check your usage in case you ever think you're going to go over.
