Apparently a Habbo competition app through FB is coming. They were doing little comps yesterday dont think they were for a prize or anything but still.

They said comps were unfair and didn't reach that many but yet they put one on fb which limits even less people from entering? lol :S

yeah lmao i don't get the comps on fb...especially those i saw yesterday it was just one person comments gets it right so just copy them? So it would be intriguing to how an app will work i think.

ugh.. well that's stupid. i really don't wanna be using my habbo facebook to enter comps but i do want some badges. this is annoying and silly, why can't they just bring them back on the homepage? ;l

I don't like or use Facebook anymore, so this won't affect me much lol. I do agree with what Georgia said about it being much easier just to place them on the Habbo.com site. Placing all comps on Facebook would simply bug me.

More like no one is a fan of things being moved off habbo to fb and twitter and they are just trying to push it. no just no.

I wish they'd just bring back competitions like normal, I agree it's limiting even less people I only have a fake facebook account linked to my ID, there's no way I'd EVER consider linking my personal facebook.

I remember the other day I was in the council room and Puffin said that they couldn't put something back on the front page but I forgot what that was, if I remember I'll comment again but it could have been competitions or something like that. Apparently they were working on bringing the thing I've forgot back.

I have a separate FB for Habbo but I don't use it nor do I like logging into that FB so not a big fan tbh.

There's no chance I'll enter them if they have anything to do with Facebook. How they can say they "don't reach many people" then limit it even more is beyond me...

Nobody cares about Facebook and Twitter. Why do they not realise?!

I think they're attempting to gain Facebook and Twitter audiences to expand but then again they lose sight of the main thing and that is concentrating on what they already have. They have more than enough people playing Habbo to suffice but they think seeing as Facebook and Twitter is popular then they must aspire to be like that too thus creating a partnership of some sort with them. I just think they're not doing themselves justice, they should work on the actual game instead of gaining another audience which many people on Facebook may have Habbo anyway. Also I think having the game and app on through Facebook makes security decrease too.

Facebook - 900 million users as of 24th April 2012. Just over 500,000 users "like" Habbo Hotel's page.
Habbo - I believe it was something like 9 million logins per month for the most recent statistics (I can only find late 2010 statistics but I'm sure the ones someone else posted a few months ago weren't that different) out of 50 million active accs (yet again, late 2010 data).

I don't get their logic. Yes, Facebook has got a very large amount of users and I wouldn't be surprised if they reached 1 billion this year, but it is entirely optional to visit the Habbo page and a very small % of Facebook follow/like (w.e it is) Habbo. Yet, people who log into Habbo (9 million a month) were forced to see the news articles mini-desc. So it was virtually impossible to not notice the comps. in a news reel?

They complained less than 1% were entering comps. By moving comps to Facebook, that number isn't going to improve I expect x.x

New tweet from Paul.

Habbos, comps will not only be on FB. That is a mistweet. Comps, badges and fun in Habbo Hotel. FB is a totally different thing. Sorry!

Thank God for that lol x I don't think I'd be able to put up with only comps. on Facebook - good to see them coming back to the hotel.

Habbos I have confirmed that FB contests are not the only contests. Sorry for misunderstanding. This is why we tweet together! Cheers

Yeah I saw that last one a few minutes ago, it's nice he keeps us informed but maybe they were getting complaints instead of a mistweet it's plausible. It happened with the Fansite rules lmao!

don't get why they feel the need to put them on facebook instead of on the site, it's a bit stupid
