If you could restart secondary school, would you approach it any different?
Personally, although I hated it I'd probably have a good attendance record if I did.

Also, I don't know if there's a thread on this somewhere I cba checking.

Knowing what I know now, id of tried a lot harder and got straight A's, gone to college, then uni to study architecture

I think I would have worked hard and made sure I got good grades and made sure my attendance was good

I wish I would have put my head down more rather than messing around. Guess I would have changed what subjects I took too!

don't regret anything, not even not studying as i was only interested in english and modern studies anyway. probably would've left earlier though.

I genuinely would do nothing different, perfect experience THAT I CAN NEVER RELIVE -SLIT-

Not really. I loved school. I worked really hard and always had loads of banter. Only year I hated was my GCSE because I lost 4 of my grandparents/great grandparents within a few weeks of each other. That was out of my control though and I didn't get enough help or any special consideration.

I'd actually pay attention knowing that I could have attained better grades.

Probably make the right subject choices, study harder and build up a better reputation...

Probably would have chosen diff. options. Probably would have opted for Triple Science over Food Technology.

no, because then i would have attended univsersity and most likely lived the "normal" lifestyle every teenager does, which isn't what i've ever wanted...

would do it exactly the same hahahaha. though maybe i wouldn't eat that ****** champagne cake at prom and get food poisoning, that sucked.

i would choose different options, the ones i chose don't really help me as much anymore :(

regret becoming friends with certain people although i guess things may have happened for a reason so.
oh and maybe pay more attention

Well in one way I'd pick different options as opposed to geography, history and art but then again in hindsight they were enjoyable so I don't regret them. I think I'd have done better in French or something though!

Wouldn't change a thing I have worked hard and played hard. Chosen the right subjects and love every minute of it. Can't believe I only have 4 weeks left and it will never be the same again!

Like others; I'd of paid more attention.

But mostly which would've helped me more through high school is that I would've talked to different people. Nicer people.

Now having a better understanding of how much a difference can make by a grade I would of definitely tried harder at my GCSE's, I would of also changed my options. I would of also changed my 'social group' I was with for pretty much all the way through my school life, ****** or what.

I'd put in more effort into revision and be more confident to ask for help when i'm unsure on something rather then keeping it to the back of my mind. The social askpect I wouldn't change at all.

I loved my secondary school, all my mates were top laughs! Our school was pretty run down so you could have more of a laugh! My only downfall was bunking off to play pool in the last year but was still best years of my life!

Certainly would.
First I'd get with my ex boyfriend and stay with him.
Then I'd stay outta trouble, def stay in the books instead of
oss,iss. -.-

If I could restart secondary school, I would change to a different secondary school :)

If I could I would probably restart my senior years cuz well didn't concentrate/study much and didn't exactly get the grades I wanted. Other than that though I wouldn't prob would end up a worse experience anyway :/

I would of paid attention more at school and got on with work rather then moaning about it and kicking off

I'd of improved my behaviour.

Less fights
Less falling out with teachers
No disruptive ********

I actually miss secondary school! I'd be a saint if I could go back!

Become more social earlier on, rather than only coming out of my shell in the last two years of it.

Shar

I'd probably study harder and stop missing school as much as I did

DPS

Yeah i would, i wouldnt have been the bad kid in school getting in trouble for fighting and bunking ect ect.
A drunk man once told me that them years at school are the most important if you wanna get somewhere high in life.. and i laughed at him.
Now i wish i did take hes advice.

fefobobo

I'd say I'd be perfect and not do anything bad but then I'd restart everything and just do all the **** I did the first time.

I have one year left so I'll make the most of it;3

I'd probably gotten along with a few people a bit better,
and made more of an effort to study and such.

I'd work much harder than I did and not slack around so much.

CrazyLemurs

I'd find a way to go to a private school where even le banter is punished as I hate banter
People go to hit me in the bollocks, I flinch, and then they have the right to hit me BECAUSE I flinch?

pick different subjects and come out of my shell more. not to be such a ******* **** too

Oh man, this is one question I do ponder on a lot, even though I'm only 19 and not a complete failure yet lol.

If I could go back to the start of Year 7 I would've worked harder, much harder. Did better at my SATS and got onto a better GCSE pathway (so I could have more options) and then work harder at GCSE level, I wouldn't have bothered going into my schools sixth form but just did my AS levels at college instead, I absolutely hated my schools sixth form and had a bit of a breakdown that year so I failed. -_- One subject in particular I would've worked harder at is Maths, I struggled with it for ages.

Socially, I would've made more an effort and been less "immature" (led to bullying) and not simply have let friends drift. I'd probably still join Habbo in Year 9 like I did since I met two very good friends which I still speak to this day, but I would've did things differently for sure, maybe not become as addicted or something.

Chris

I would try to be more involved with friendship groups instead of being the outsider. :P

This really.

Would try and be more social, and have more courage rather than wimping out all the time and letting people push me around and try make myself less invisible. Would try to have more of a good time instead of letting the pressure get to me too much and spoiling things. xD

Procrastinate less and study harder

Remus
05-07-2012, 11:25 PM
I would have stood up for myself more and turned up every day when i should have. While i still have decent grades I know i could have done better if i had approached bullying issues in a different manner.
