have u ever been on mefanic acid? and did it have any side effects?

oh i was put on it cos of bad period pains and my pill wasn't stopping it and it stopped the pain but also stopped ma period and i wanna know if anyone else has missed periods cus of it

oh yeah cause I was on combined pill but it gave me terrible leg pain so I went on progesterone only pill which made me feel nauseous and I had a terrible terrible period on it so mefanic acid is the next step I guess

but glad to hear it actually stops the pain

I've done a little google but I can't find anything about it. To put your mind at rest it's probably best to go to the doctor because if it is bad that it stops your period it's better to find out now rather than wait and have permanent damage to your baby carriage
