So says GPN$. It will only be a live messenger and not Habbo as they said they can't do it or it would be do difficult for user to move and press furniture on such a small screen compared to the computer.

I've always wondered why they don't have the console where you can talk to people on the home page, you know if you're not on Habbo on the client etc so that would be good and this reminds me of it.

However, why would you want a Habbo messenger? What if someone saw your phone?

That's pretty interesting stuff, nice one. It'll be nice to keep in touch with some people.

I guess that doesn't stop everyone. I have emails and a application just for Habbox and I don't really mind if people see that - Some people may not want others knowing they use such services. Just depends! :P

Samanfa; To be fair, you can decrease the chances of your little secret getting out into reality by adding a password / lock on your phone. Then it just mean you need to be careful when your using it as to who's about...

It'll be a useful thing to have if you just wanted to chat! :)

I think it actually sounds pretty cool aha. If you're worried about someone else seeing it then don't use it when you're in company. :P

Spoke to GPN earlier about it, it's only in the pipeline and nothing has been decided/given the go ahead. When asked he didn't know if it'd be a console/chat or minimail application. As for iphone/ipod users - you could simply create a folder and put it in there.

Hmm, sounds quite interesting I suppose. Would be quite a good way to keep up with people you have on Habbo :P

i personally think it's super lame and i didn't really know people still used the habbo messenger apart from to spam event invites which obviously ain't gonna be useful if yr on yr phone BUT:

it's a realllllyy good way of keeping personal details safe, if there's an app to talk to yr habbo friends when yr not on habbo/away from laptop then people will be less likely to give out their mobile number / email address / social networking links which is an all round safer prospect.

this is why habbo ranks within safest websites for personal details and data ;) good incentive thinking.

I might get it, and make more use of it if it was there... Not sure who I'd speak to on it though haha

Interview With Heini

Generally speaking, what upcoming changes/plans do you have in store for Habbo?
Wouldn’t it be fun if you could breed pets, or if groups could have proper group chats, or if you could have a mobile Habbo IM for chatting with friends even when you’re not online in the Hotel, or if you could design your own Furni, or… So many ideas!

It is a good idea but I don't see it being used a lot for a while because the IM Console isn't used that much for talking? Unless that's just me!

Pretty neat and tidy application, very modernised if that how it will look. The simplicity is very good.
