The states are now in the process of electing delegates to the Tampa convention. Now although it appeared Romney had sealed the deal, it is very very unclear what is happening. I know so far Ron Paul has racked up majority of delegates in four to five states and i've heard its even more states... only Mitt Romney and Ron Paul remain in the race by the way.

Ron Paul has been drawing in thousands at speaking events, unlike Romney who GOP fears has 'no grassroots'

What do ME, MN, CO, IA, LA, NV, AK, ND, MO, WA & MA have in common? They're all sending a majority of #RonPaul delegates to Tampa!

...thoughts?

Well, we all want him to win. Sadly he won't. Hopefully he'll stick around for the next election.

He put too much attention on New Hampshire and Iowa, whilst skipping some states after that, making his presence less known. That has been one critique.

I would like to think there is a massive hidden number game that people are unaware of and there is. But I don't think it'll be enough to overpower Romney. But it will give him a clear voice come convention time.

I really don't know what to think, whether to be too optimistic or not. But apparently its happened before as the above video states where a candidate has managed to play the delegate game and won the eventual nomination (President Harding).... I also recall that Obama did something similar against Clinton but on less of an 'underground' game as Paul is doing.

Hearing however that apparently Ron Paul is close to securing Nevada and Maine as I type this post out.

Yes, I did read closely about Harding. But back then you needed 100 and something delegates to win, quite a difference.

Obama did play a similar strategy, but he was more of a mainstream democrat, hence the media publicized it. Well, also because he like Romney got a lot of money from all these big multi-national companies.

I personally, found that video very interesting indeed and there is no doubt he has much more. How much more? You and I cannot know until August :P, we can only hope!

While he may win some states and is gaining a heck of a lot of delegates, the establishment will still not let him get nominated even if he had a true amount of winning delegates they would probably find a way to not let him win by rigging more primarys

On the numbers i've been reading, today the Paul Campaign apparently won 22 of the 25 Nevada Delegates and 21 of 24 Delegates in Maine.
