Java desktop application ideas.

I want to continue to learn some more Java API's and in particular learn Swing. I want to develop a desktop application that'll assist me in educating me.

Does anyone have any application ideas? There are a lot of image uploading apps available so I don't particularly want to write another.

A todo list manager is a pretty simple application that will pull a lot of the basics that you should know in together.
