Hey, so yesterday I started a download on uTorrent and everything was going fine. I stupidly didn't leave my PC on overnight and now my download speed has just plummeted and I have no idea why.
The green tick is showing at the bottom, and I've run the test under the 'Speed Guide' option and everything is showing up properly and stuff. I've made an exception in my firewall (by that I mean i ticked the option in uTorrent settings to do it for me), but that was all done yesterday and obviously now it's not going properly.
I've got the latest uTorrent, Windows 7 Home Premium and I got the torrent from TPB and it had like 5-6000 seeds so it can't be that.
Any help would be appreciated!

Maybe you've downloaded too much and your ISP has cut your speed?

I had thought this but yesterday was probably the first time I've used torrents in like two or three months so I don't know whether that would still be an issue?

It's probably seeder/leecher ratio or how much seeders are actually uploading.

You get throttled during the day time fairly easily by 99% of ISPs. Also during the day many people aren't seeding as they're at work/school and americans are either asleep or again at work/school. Speed will be faster at night, it's the way it works.

Yeah it's just sort of starting to slowly pick up in the last half hour, I usually get like 180 kbps+ and atm I'm getting around 80, so I guess that was the problem. I thought I'd ask anyway, thanks to everyone who posted :)
