This has happened for me for months, I remember telling xxMATTGxx and it still happens. It annoys me a lot sometimes especially if forums on a slow mode.

Can't replicate in Chrome v20. Can you give me steps to replicate? Do you just click on the previous thread (without clicking on the quick reply box or anything) and it alerts you?

What plugins do you have installed? It seems to only be them that's causing an error (apart from an ad not loading). I can't reproduce.

just disabled them all and it's still doing it

It does this for certain users every so often and from what I read last night you can disable the whole message so it doesn't come up again for anyone. Although, wouldn't that conflict with any auto-saved content?

If you're receiving the message consistently, this means that AJAX communication is somehow failing in your browser. You don't have any settings or addons that prevent the server from pushing new information to your browser without reloading the page do you?

Can't say I get it on firefox. Other than when I should be.

I occasionally experience this, but for me it's not a big deal and you just press leave page so I won't loose any sleep :)

Edit; I am also on Chrome and if it counts Non-Habbo Light.

nah, happens with addons and plugins disabled, and as you can see from this thread it's not just on chrome 12.

still shouldn't be happening though

Just an example of it happening in Safari. I know this has kind of been established as a general vBulletin bug but here's what it looks like in a brand new install of the browser with nothing added. I hope for a fix soon — it is annoying!

Actually what you have shown is how it should be working. It's warning if you really want to leave because you have entered text into the editor.

No, it is not working properly. This is what pops up when you click 'Post Quick Reply'. It happens often not not every time. What the alert says is "Do you really want to leave this page," whereby no matter what you click (as far as I can tell) the result is not predictable. It never posts like it should when this happens after you click 'Post Quick Reply' in my case. It either doesn't post at all or causes a double post in a few cases. I am not silly, Matt — you know that after this long.

Jeese, Sorry I even said anything.

No, don't be sorry. I am happy that you are around to help. Perhaps I was a bit touchy but I can assure you it isn't working properly for me yet if someone has fixed something and I am positive it is not on my end because it is not limited to one browser or one machine. I apologise for maybe biting your head off a bit there, it was not intentional. In fact, I am sure I was rude. Someone commented that I am in a sharp mood earlier. Too much work, I guess. I'll take this as a cue to relax. Cheers, Matthew!
