Clearly someone hasn't reviewed the rules recently or read mattg's post in staff section, clearly outlines that you aren't allowed to give links to the site now, and paul has confirmed it ;p

But gl getting banned just send an email ye and say you were unaware of the change.

There's no need to be condescending about it. And it wasn't a ban on linking, but a ban on link spamming.

OP: You can read the thread here: http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=747782

Also there isn't a precise address you can email, but you can use the habbo help tool
https://help.habbo.com/home

Then use the habbo help tool and appeal it, also PM xxMATTGxx informing him and he can start compiling a list of grossly unfair bans.

Sorry if it came out like that, not particularly how it was meant to appear, was just meant to be blunt and str8 to the point that there was a fair reason for it.
TheProduct; unfortunately 1 post can be enough supposedly, which is a little rediculous but that's how it is not much you can do about it apart from send an email or ticket and hope for the best, just explain you werent aware of the change etc as it's relatively new ;p

But the ban this user received clearly states the reason being "Promoting or owning a clone Habbo (Retro) is not permitted". So talking about the spamming rule isn't really needed in the explanation. But I do get you if the ban reason was about disrupting game play or something along those lines :)

Still find it shocking that moderators find it hard to realise that Habbox is not a retro.

The point still stands that he shoulda got banned though, just for a diferent reason then stated cause the stupid habbo mods are incapable of reading simple english ;p

Are you serious? You only emailed them like less than an hour ago? That's a really good sign of improvement for the Support System. Well done, lucky for such a quick response.

I wouldn't be surprised if they've instigated a filter which immediately flags up the words "habbox.com" and "retro".

Hopefully should unban you since habbo forum isn't a retro. Although the rules do say dont give out sites but that is not what the ban reason states.

I know you are now unbanned but thought I would post this anyway. Jas, was also banned for the same reason and got unbanned very quickly and said it was an error. How many errors do they have to do to take it into account that it isn't an actual retro? I understand the spamming rule but that's not what the ban reason states.
