I saw a ghost!

I was in the kitchen brushing up and my mum and little brother were in the bathroom (we have one downstairs) and I felt somebody walk past me (not phisicly) and I saw a dark figure in the corner of my eye, so I thought it was my mum and I turned my music down before she asked me to, I then went into the living room to talk to her, she wasnt there, I looked up the stairs no sight of anyone. I went to the bathroom and they were both still there I asked if any of them had moved and they said no.
Aparantly this happens to my mum and grandma too, its my mums auntie who died. Im home alone atm and I am still freaked out!

I kind of doubt it's a ghost but it certainly sounds like a strange experience anyhow..

No it isnt ;( Why was it a figure and why did I feel them walk past me, omg my best mate Jess was lying in bed with her covers over her head and she felt somethuing pressing on her bed she thought it was her mum so she was laughing and she went get off then it got harder she sat up and no one was in her room and her door was closed. In my old house the tv, cd player turned its self on and off, we all woke at 3am at the same time on a summers night FREEZING one xmas my mum took a pic of me opening presents (the tv was off) and a ghost was coming out of the tv and it was the man who died in that house.

All sounds overwhelming. I think it's a possability mind you, I believe in the paranormal, it's good to keep your ming open :D, plus have you seen that film?, can't remember what it's called now, but they released it and they got complaints sent back because in one of the scenes there was the ghost of a little boy sitting on the kitchen window, and whent he producers played it back, they saw it too and had to refilm that scene.

Some ghost experiences are done by discomfort, as you say, you saw a dark figure in the corner of your eye,this corner could be caused by a shadow in the corner which as it was the corner of your eye, this maybe near your blind spot. What you could do to stop this sort of experience is buy new lights that cover the kitchen with light, like one light buld shining towards the corner one facing down and a few others scattered around showing light.

Dont know if what they say is true but it does make sense, My dog sometimes jumps up and looks up the stairs for no reason rofl.

It was a bit cold but it wasnt like noticable.

I do believe you and I do believe ghosts can be seen with the naked eye. I've never seen one. I've had experiences of them but i've never actually seen one. My mum has seen two. I was there when she visualised her first ghost. She kind of just froze and stared it was so freaky.:max_sad: I might aswell share her experience with you. :P Okay, we stayed at this place called ''Waddo Hall'' (It's a mansion) And one night we was sat in the lounge thing having a chat. I asked my mum a question and she didn't answer I was like ''Whats up?'' She was just staring at the fireplace. Then she kind of like came round as if she'd just been hypnotised or something :s I asked her what was wrong and she was really hyped out. She was like ''OMG DID YOU NOT SEE THAT DID YOU NOT SEE THAT'' Like almost crying. We was saying ''What, what?!'' She said she'd seen a small-ish kind of woman holding a lantern, she looked like some sort of nurse but she had a black hood on. She didn't see any other details but them.
We didn't think anything of it as we were so tired. We went to bed *scared* then woke up in the morning and decided to check things out. We looked at the fireplace where she'd seen the figure and there was a gravestone encarved into the fireplace. And it was of a girl who'd worked there when it used to be a children's hospital. When we found that out we were so spooked out! :eusa_pray :eusa_pray Then when we got home to Wigan, we watched that ''most haunted'' (Yeah i know it isn't realistic haha.) and they visited Waddo hall! :o And it explained that theres a young woman that roams the mansion, as she's disturbed. The woman is seemed to be called ''Peg-o-nell'' (Search it on google ;) ) Also on the programme there was the young woman's old bedroom and they said that they darnt go in it because it's a very eearie place. So I think my mum may have been jiinxed because she went into it, who knows? :o

This is a shorter story. I wasn't actually there when this event happened.
My mum and nan was in a ''textiles'' kind of shop. You know like the one that sells curtains and such. (It's in the town of Leigh by the way) Anyway, my mum and nan was looking upstairs. Flicking through the curtains and that, you know how it is. When my mum yelled ''WATCH YOU DONT KNOCK THAT KID OVER MUM!!!'' (To my nan) My nan was like ''What? You what?'' My mum felt so stupid because she'd seen a little child running about near her feet and my nan hadn't seen it. So mum went downstairs and told the shop owner that she'd seen a ghost upstairs and the manager said. ''Oh god don't you start, all my colleagues have seen that ghost and we don't like to mention it, it's scary. It's been roaming round this place for years. Just think about us we have to work here! :P ''

*Mum said it's not scary when you see a ghost it's like relaxing in the atmosphere. It makes you feel happy*

I've not seen a ghost but I do believe they exist, one time I was in my room watching tv in my bed no one was in the house then I saw my door slowly open up, I thought it was the wind so I went to shut the windows but they where already shut, then the door slammed shut, I didn't think much about it at first but I was freaked out when I found all the windows in the house where shut aswell I don't think my house is haunted or anything but I think ghosts are like hitch hikers, they only stay in one place if something really bad happened to them there and once what was happened is fixed their soul will be let to rest, that was the first ghost like thing I've ever encountered but it wasn't really scary at first, people that go on things like Most Haunted are mostly paid to do stuff like be possessed...

Another thing that's weird about my house is if you have the lighting in my room just right then you look at the chimney you can see the shadow of a boat

my cousin told me one night when i slept at his house there was a ghost in the room when i was asleep i beleive him because hes not the type to make up stories he told me there was this women at the bottom of his bed and he was froze and he couldnt move and theres a shoe factory near where a women surposidly haunts an old lady with stitches on her face and thats what my cousin discribed and he didnt even know about the factory ghost , because shes meant to haunt the shop bit and even the staff think its haunted
