Olympic Furniture Range

Do you think Habbo will release a furniture range for the London Olympics this Summer? What would you like to see? What do you think they'd make for a LTD Olympic Rare?

I hope they don't make another ltd rare buy Ye the Greek stuff probs return and they might make a new set, would like to see stadium walls or something though and Greek steps? ;p

I agree with Jan. I think they'll release the Greek furniture and I like the idea of Greek steps or stone steps. Maybe they'll release some kind of Olympic torch? Also, they might release the Greek trophies again.

I would like to see different furniture, maybe a balance beam which your Habbo can stand on or hurdles you can jump over etc.

they'll most likely bring back the greek furniture range, along with some new, additional pieces. i would love to see them release a wider range of furniture for all of the different events which take place. for example, archery furniture, swimming furniture etc.

and perhaps (if they're still releasing ltd edition furniture) they'll release the olympic torch? :O

While we're on the topic of the Olympic Torch... doesn't that seem like the perfect opportunity for a new effect?! Perhaps they could release a trophy with the London 2012 logo on the top... or even the ArcelorMittal Orbit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ArcelorMittal_Orbit) tower?

I'd really like to see some furniture branded with the London 2012 logo and text though. The Big Ben is probably one of my favourite pieces of furniture so Habbo could go it would be so good if Habbo went crazy and created London Underground Tube Trains, London Underground logo posters, etc!!

No doubtingly Greek furni would be brought out, I really like the idea of what J25T; said about the Olympic torch.

Hopefully seeing either race tracks brought into the shops or the logo for the Olympics.

Love this idea! Maybe even if you carry the torch, then you light a plate on the floor, then all goes up in flames then they appear on fire?

2. Stadium Furni! (Better than the crap ones that are there now!)
3. New Olympic Clothes
4. LTD Model of the stadium
5. Buildings
6. Backgrounds

Sadly, Habbo can't use the Olympic logo at all as its highly copyrighted, and it's illegal to sell a product with that logo if your not associated to the Olympics.


Businesses hoping for some Olympic glamour to rub off on them have found themselves in breach of strict copyright laws imposed by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and enforced by the London organising committee (LOCOG).


Hundreds of infringements have already been recorded.


"My advice to businesses is rather than becoming frustrated that they can't use the word Olympic, they just think about other ways in which they can reach out to tourists, visiting officials, to members of the media, commercial partners who will be in town," he said. "They've just got to careful in the wording and imagery they use."


Breaches can result in fines of 20,000 pounds.

Ugh, the whole logo and copyright infringement is an absolute farce. Why can't the powers that be give our country some freedom rather than wrapping it up in laws and politics? People shouldn't have to be "careful in the wording and images they use".
