Smart phones and tablets have dominated the world in the past few years providing us with utilities for work, entertainment and so on. These facilities come from apps and there are thousands of apps on different operating systems. Some have the potential to make millions and it has been proven through certain apps. I want to know, if you had the chance, what app would you create?

The most creative and useful app will win!

I would create an app that would automatically scan in all objects you own into their system and had the ability to track down the objects location and gave you directions to it. Say if you left your wallet in a shopping centre or at the gym but not sure whereabouts, you could use the app to give you an exact location as to where it is and it would tell you how to get their.

Since someone used the first idea I had (^ *glares*) I'd create an application that would work with a sexy guy's voice (the user would be able to choose from celebrities or others) and tell girls how beautiful they look, how fabulous they are, and could hold a conversation for as long as the user wanted, just like the perfect boy that doesn't exist. Imagine how many girls would download that :D If that was a success (which it obviously would be) then it'd be expanded to male users, but I guess in that case it'd have to be a bit more dirty.. ;)

An App where you could just walk around places and it would show you the closest places that were hiring and you could filter it by things like pay, experience, line of work, etc...

Unemployed? Walk out your front door and find the closest job possible! WOOO.

I would create an anti spoiler app that would be able to block specific key words related to specific topics.

We all know what it's like trying to avoid being spoiled about our favourite TV show if we haven't seen the latest episode. Imagine it's the finale and loads are talking about it online, social networks etc. but you want to check some stuff without being spoiled.

The idea is that the app is able to pick up not just key words but specific subjects, shows etc. For example telling it to block key words from Doctor Who it would find any posts with the related keywords and automatically block them - giving the option to show blocked statuses, messages etc. with a warning and allowing you to override the block if need be.

This would be handy if it could work on across multiple mobile, desktop and website platforms.

My app would be a Balanced Diet/Health Counter App. Basically, you'd just scan the food or meal you were eating and it would tell you what it contained i.e it would tell you its fat content, sugar content, calories and also it would give you a percentage on how good or bad it was for you. That information would then be moved to your personal food diary which at the end of every week you get a prize if your food and exercise combined score is better than 75% :) An easy way to stay fit and eat well.

Also it would have an exercise and food randomizer which would give you healthy and interesting suggestions for a better lifestyle. Finally, including the food part there would be an exercise window with a personal exercise diary and that would add up to the food diary score at the end of every week.

Interesting huh?

My app would be the sarcasm detector. You ever get those times where you can't tell if someone is being serious or sarcastic? Whether it be through text/chat or in person, the app would let you know.
