Hi

I'm wanting to buy a new PC and know someone who builds them. My current pc is getting old now but I am curious how much people think it is worth. It's going to take me a while to save up for a new PC but selling this could give me some cash.

The computer is a custom built computer which came from a local Cyber Cafe. The case is a little broken to (obviously if selling I'd show pictures). Here are the actual specs:

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ - Brisbane 65nm Technology
RAM - 2.00 GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 300MHz (5-5-5-18)
Motherboard - FOXCONN 520A (Socket AM2)
Graphics - AL1511 (1024x768@60Hz)/512MB GeForce 9400 GT (nVidia)
Hard Drives244GB Seagate ST3250410AS ATA Device (SATA)
Optical Drives - HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50 ATA Device
Audio - Realtek High Definition Audio

Thanks

In all honesty, I wouldn't bother selling it. Keep it and use it a test rig or something you can mess around on... you won't get much for it.

But if I did sell it any clues on what it could fetch. I mean I know it won't get a lot but it's going to take me a bit to get the money together so I'd rather sell it and get a little ain't really got the room for 2 computers either

I'd not pay any more than £50, if that, depending on what this case damage looked like.

This is an idea I used when I had 2/3 spares laying around. I took old parts and put them into 1 tower, sold that for £250. Then the rest, I sold on ebay. With help from my step dad at the time though. I made around £350 in total!

If I were you I'd use it and setup a web server on it and learn some coding or something. But that's what I'd do personally, the reason I brought a rack server for my bedroom.
