vBulletin 4.2 Upgrade!

As most of you are probably are aware we took the forum down this afternoon for maintenance. During this maintenance we upgraded the forum to the latest vBulletin version. This has brought a number of bug fixes, security patches to the forum. Normally these are all behind the scene and you won't notice them but there is also some new features and they are:

Reputation Comment Notification

You will now receive a notification when another member leaves you a reputation comment - This looks like the following:

Activity Stream

vBulletin have also included a new stream where users can watch the activity of the forum. At the moment this does it for threads and posts and can also be set-up for visitor messages. You can view this by clicking "Activity Stream" in the navigation bar or just by clicking here. (http://www.habboxforum.com/activity.php)

Mobile Skin

The mobile skin has been fixed during the past couple of vBulletin releases and it should now work a lot better than it used to. This does mean that you are now able to click on "Full Site" and it will stay in a non-mobile skin unless you choose to go back to the mobile skin.

There are still two mobile skins on offer: "Default Mobile Style" and "Legacy Mobile Style"

As with all vBulletin upgrades, skins break, plugins explode and general havoc ensues... now, unfortunately we can't always catch them so we'd really appreciate it if any bugs could be reported HERE (http://www.habboxforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1445) using the Habbox Forum tag.



Known Bugs

We're aware of the following bugs (and will update this list as we become aware/fix them):

- Pages don't currently work properly on repuation in UserCP, needs a recode
- Search box drop down on thread view is currently borked
- Reputation box titles need aligning with each other
- Forum announcement text needs fixing (e.g. in Feedback)
- http://www.habboxforum.com/online.php borked on all skins
- "Last Post" needs moving to right hand side on dark skin
- Activity stream on dark looks awful
- Users in 24 hours at bottom is missing for some users
- Rep pips in posts defaulted to original style.
- Activity Stream link should open in current window
- Favicon fixed
- Menu when clicking on username looks terrible
- Okay button on VM too short error does nothing (*** not our issue, doesn't work on vB.com website ***)
- vBulletin icon on Mobile skin needs changing - given to GFX dept.

- Legacy Mobile Skin severely depreciated and as such has been disabled.
