Well I joined in May 2008 on the .COM hotel. I then joined in July 2008 on the .CO.UK hotel, I then somehow created another account in October 2008 on the .COM hotel and had no idea about them. When merging I found the two old accounts therefore made me join in 2008 but I never properly played until 2009!

I didn't know much about it for the first year I played it though, I was pretty much a noob until 2006 when I made my current account. I previously got hacked cos of the stupid ways that there were to say your password without intending to.

2003. Got very rich very quickly after buying a throne for a dicemaster. :P Then my school friend phoned me one night when I was at work (I'd just been given a job off the back of work experience) telling me someone was in my account and I needed to stop them. Obviously I couldn't so gave him my account details for him to save my fortune. My work friend then suggested it was actually my school friend who was the one stealing my stuff. Turned out he was right. :rolleyes: Great friend he turned out to be. :rolleyes: Set up a new account in 2005 though and got on with it, I'm rich again now so it doesn't really matter anymore lol.

Used to make profits with rares in my shop. Loved getting in from school and opening up the shop, buying cheap and selling high. Easily made 5hc profit a night (which was a lot back then). I remember one night the hotel went down for maintenance and I was mortified; scrabbling through every fansite I knew of to try and find out the reason. It came back about an hour later. Can you imagine if it had been a week long mute? Lol, don't think I would have survived, lol!

I won Funky Friday, 3rd prize a bronze trophy from jibbi , still have it in my trophy room. Spent most of my time in trade rooms. Got barred from Budy’s? Trade room, long story. Traded 2 throne sofas for one of my first thrones, great deal :)

Anyone remember the glitch with throne sofas? and the glitch with hockey sticks? 2003/2004 era.

And I remember you placing 200+ hockey sticks in a room and making it bugger up... never saw anyone else do it though...
Remember v7 when dragons came out? And someone had like 600 in one room and the client deleted like half of them? xD

Also I remember selling my first throne for 3HCs... which was actually quite a good deal at the time... >-> Just after HC was released... Haha, also remember me, you, James and I think Jack as well getting the first Gold HCs? That was lulz... the amount of people that thought we were MODs! xD

OK well this is my life story. I guess you won't believe it (everyone pretends the were on habbo since opening) but here we go:

- I was 10 years old and my mum needed to go to the Internet Cafe. This was in London way back when the Internet was so web 1.0. The year was 2001 or whenever the UK hotel first opened (I'm 21 now, I was 10 then, you do the maths)
- We got there and a strange guy with long blonde hair and a strange accent came up to us, and said "Hey blah blah there is this cool new site blah blah, try it out". I remember him asking my mum how old I was and she said 10, and he said well I can go on anyway, but I should be 11 years old to go on.
- On top of every computer there was this L shaped plastic thing with a two habbos on and www.habbohotel.com. Back then the site was horrible and black, and habbo UK was .com
- Anyway I went on, and I couldn't type fast! It took me an hour to type one sentence. I got frustrated. After my mum did whatever it was she was doing, she typed for my sister (who obviously was with us at the Cafe) because she couldn't type fast either, and I got into an argument with her saying she loved my sister more because she was typing for her lol
- Two or three more times we went to the interent cafe and played habbo (only because my mum needed to go)

- In year 8 or 9 at school... which I think you are 14 years old, my friends used to play habbo during ICT lessons. I went on a few times, found it very boring. My classmates only went on for a month or two before they stopped (or maybe kept playing in secret o.O

- When I was 15 (2005) we finally got the internet at home after months of begging my mum. We got the internet and I thought to myself... OK Now what... this is boring! Remembered habbo a few days later, spent a few hours trying to google it to remember what it was called, to embarrassed to ask my friends or let them know I was playing it. I now know that habbo UK went from .com to .co.uk so I signed up for USA by mistake
- Played habbo, spent £100 on credits without permission, got in big trouble with my mum, my sister teased me for ages about how much of a loser I was for spending so much money on virtual furniture, got perm banned for something stupid (typing personal info... I think it was my email or something) lolwut
- Made my current habbo in 2006.
- Made accounts on EVERY hotel, and regularly used SG, CA, AU, UK and ES. I even moved to the UK habbo during the last year or so of me on habbo, I purchased credits on UK and had lots of furni. On the other hotels I traded US for local furni so I would have enough for a room on each.
- Blah blah
- Owned three of the most popular groups on habbo (can you guess who I am now? Don't say my name on here kthnx)
- Became less interested in habbo when I went to college (late 2007)
- In 2009 I was going to uni and decided to delete all my online stuff so it wouldn't be there to haunt me in the future - all those old stupid and misspelt forum posts from when I was 11 lol
- I deleted all my popular groups, everyone's forum post count went down by thousands and more! I even got death threats!
- Locked my rooms
- Asked for a permban (they used to give safety bans and perm bans for people quitting) but said they no longer do it.
- I was tempted to go back to habbo after I quit but didn't. I have no idea why I never stayed in contact with the good friends I made. I had them on MSN but I am not one for adding randoms/internet people on facebook and by the time I quit habbo, I stopped using Instant Messengers because they are ****.
- Oh I forgot to mention that JUST BEFORE it was announced that coke music was to close, I traded lots of my rares for Coke Music Rares fml

- Spent ages emailing hotel staff trying to recover accounts despite me giving them my phone number used to buy credits, ip addresses, ISP etc... until I realised that I could link my account through username and password to my clone. I did that. Btw this feature undermines the whole purpose of logging in via email for security reasons.
- Yay I can use my old account
- Find out that I am worth not even 1% of what I was before I left because of the merge.. and all I have is like 100 red box things as compensation
- Can't sell things for real money... not worth much anymore
- OMG my accounts on AUS, UK, CA and SG were all DELETED... even my UK one which I bought credits for. I hear there is no chance of getting them back (from habbo FAQs), does anyone know if you can if you email them a lot?
- My permaban account has its ban lifted in 2017 or something like that, I may email them to say I am sorry etc, I mean, for all you who played around 2005, asking for c.a.m, msm etc (though happened often;oldplayers will get the filter) were perm banned straight away, but in 2009 just before I quit, people did it all the time, gave out facebook etc and nothing happened! Maybe they would be more lenient now... but then again after the mute...

Anyway I am back on now, sort of addicted to getting achievements. Even though I think I am way to old for this, my old friends still appear as active on my friends list (1. get a life, 2. yay reunion!)

But yeah tl;dr: nothig interesting was said.

Oh and I forgot to add to the above that before I quit in 2009, I tried to quit before and failed. I gave away rares on my backup account (1-10hc value x at least 100 rares back when HCs were worth something). This was when my main account was perm banned (I was telling all my friends to add my msn for when I quit via console... meaning one of my so called friends REPORTED ME >:l). Luckily a fake apology email got me unbanned but yeah, I came back after I quit and had a lot less rares :(

Oh and if anyone asks me when I started playing habbo, I say 2005 because that was when I became a proper player.

And I apologise for the really badly written post above: I guess I didn't care enough to proof read it :D

somewhere in 2005 i stumbled across habbo.ca and i was utterly amazed at it because ive never played a social game before. after that i moved to .com, then settled in .co.uk around 2006. habbo was so fun..it is a shame all games crumble after awhile
