Is this really the end for pixels? I liked the new pixel furniture, I liked pixel pet food, I like gaining pixels via achievements and what the heck are we going to purchase effects with? I'm certainly not purchasing effects with credits lol.

I'll just stock up on pet food if they really are going :'(

To add to this, someone noticed that the Firework achievements were removed yesterday during the Helper update things. Everyone seemed to be quite stumped about it, but then I realised that you use pixels to charge the fireworks and thus gain the badges.

No pixels = No charging = No badge possible.

So what the heck are we going to charge fireworks with?! I liked doing that lmfao.

Oh wow, how strange. I suppose people just have too many pixels these days and Habbo don't want to keep up trying to persuade people to buy them. They were pretty good for the effects though. I have thousands of them so I ought to stock up on pet food and effects! :)

 It won't happen suddenly, and you'll have plenty of timeto prepare. This week we'll start out by removing Pixel earnings from Quests and Achievements,change fireworks charging to unlimited (so you can charge without Pixels). Next week we'll belaunching a special Farewell To Pixels campaign, with new, cool items that you can buy for yourremaining Pixels. Then probably around June 19 (we might install a count down timer in theHotels), Pixels will be removed.

* I have fifteen trillion Pixel points (or thereabouts), what do I do with them? There's notenough for me to spend them on and I don't want thousands of Pixel Beds... Did I earn itall for nothing?
 We might have something in the Farewell To Pixels campaign that costsfifteen trillion pixels (or thereabouts), let's see... ;)

Alas, no more people going 'can I pay in pixels?' it's been a good run and they came in handy for some things. What will be next? Will we need to pay for effects? I know I won't be doing that in the slightest, so they remove Ecotron for whatever reason, they remove Plasto and now they're removing Pixels, what's next?

Theres another thread on this ;p but yea the pdf said they are leaving around the 19th? I don't really mind. I think I will miss not having effects when you need them but pixels haven't been around for that long... few years at the most.

Ye this is already posted, but for the sake of it I'll say it again - I'm genuinely going to miss Pixels so much :'(. Ah well, the display in the top right will look a bit better with only the "VIP" and "Credit" bit now tbh. But now, newbies barely have anything to do in the hotel? They can't practice buying furniture with credits (if they're new)...
