Hello,
do people refer to the market place price or furni values on fan sites to decide how much to buy/sell for? I have no idea how much I should sell things for, esp when in bulk.
I don't want to give an outrageous price and also don't want to be ripped off! Any advice for deciding on prices?

Camcorder;
If you go into shops and ask people "What prices do you go by?" they will either tell you they made up their prices, went by market price or by a fan site.
For your own pricing if you are wanting to make profit try going for the highest you'll do it for then if all fails decrease by 1c each time if you are in real need, but nether the less you should keep trying with the highest price as you'll always get a buyer some
day.
This is just an example :)

most people refer to looking at the marketplace and just taking a few credits off it (due to commission)

A lot of people will go by marketplace-ish prices, and many people will say "OMG RIP OFF YOU SCAMMER IT'S 34C IN THE MP" when you try to charge them 34.
I use Habbox's prices usually, with a bit of the MP thrown in both for buying and sellling.
Bulk is really up to you, I sell 3c things 2 for 5, but it's totally personal taste, and how nice someone is! LOL :D

I think it depends how much you buy for in the first place, I often use Habbox values for things like Super Rares when non are in the MP. If I look in the MP and I see the furni I need to sell at a low price I will not sell until that offers been removed or been sold.
When buying though if I see it cheaper in the MP I don't buy it but rather tell the shop owner in the hope they will reduce their price :P.

Thanks everyone! I'll consider everything you guys said. There is just that pressure to say a perfect price during a trade because I don't want to anticipate a dramatic reaction, haha!
