Everyone on my facebook is posting about the floods. I know they're all over the UK but I thought I'd share some of the pics I've seen...

These are from aberystwyth (ma uni town)... we've had about 20 emails today saying BE CAREFUL and that they're extending leases (all uni accommodation is meant to end tomorrow)

It's sunny here atm, not really had bad rain. The only rain we encountered was Thursday night on way back from the coast. That is bad :o.

Never get floods here, although it does seem to rain for an eternity at times. Rained for the past 2 days non-stop and was quite windy, but no floods in my area xD

Bloody hell! In Scotland it's just usual weather it's either decent or raining. Hope everyone down south is alright - stay safe.

No floods here but it was raining all through the night and continued into the morning for sure. Those pictures look quite bad though :(

there are some amazing pictures, one this morning brought a tear to my eye (of an old couple hugging in the debris of their house)

update: loads of houses+shops have been ruined, but everyone's slowly cleaning up

the estate agent even set up an emergency donation centre (they're not jsut an estate agents, they're like samaritans i swear, you can go in there for a chat and a cuppa tea!)

Just been on news that some parts of my county have had floods, found it shocking as again we only got heavy rain a bit last night. Been raining on and off today though, shocking :(.

We didnt get any floods this time which is unusual! Although the winds from Thursday and Friday caused powercuts around my area and trees to fall down. I heard my Auntie is around that welsh place that got bad flooding but I don't know where abouts or how close she was. It did sound really bad though :(
