football manager is/was like a drug which took over my life and i had to cease playing it for the sake of my education.

After reading this thread, I got back into it. Wish I hadn't. Knocked up 42 hours of game play in a week.

I used to love this game but got bored of it recently.

I always found the transfer market incredibly fun (i.e buying and selling and building a team) but the actual season quite long winded and boring :(

I liked messing with the database and giving myself basically unlimited funds though lol!
