i think he's basically what usher should be doing (but got distracted by the dance hype). well not exactly (as they do have their differences aswell as similarities), but atleast someone is making music similar to songs that i used to like :l

i absolutely love frank ocean, he's fabulous. his voice is amazing and the music he makes is amazing. :)

still find it weird that he's apart of odd future though as they're basically water and oil.

(yes i know i bumped an old thread, but i didn't see the point in making a new thread on the exact same thing).

so has anyone listened/bought the album (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Orange)? my favourite songs are thinkin bout you, pyramids (latter half >), super rich kids, bad religion, pilot jones, forrest gump, and crack rock. albums got outstanding reviews, with it being the highest scoring r&b album ever on metacritic.

it's good but the first half definitely drags, the second half is bloody brilliant though. i love when the synths kick in on pyramids. gets me everytime.

i've not downloaded the album or anything but i really like his voice, definitely one of the better artists out at the moment
