I think the fact they're just spamming images in some cases though it's annoying. I posted once and felt it pointless but I don't mind if it stays :P. However, it says don't post nudity but like Katy Perry covering her boobs could be nudity to some and not others.

Think we needa special subforum in general forums with no post count for these special 'post your..' threads since there seems to be quite a few of them pop up during the year haha. Like a place for one word threads which aren't really discussion but still are interesting to some people and different to 'spam' to keep it seperate.

But that idea was turned down. We've already told you that moving them to spam would kill the discussion straight away and most likely have different discussions within the thread. The thread was not intended to be there for abuse and at the moment no one has abused it. Like any other thread like this, people get told off we feel they are doing just that.

I don't understand what it is about this forum, we seem to have people arguing for less forum posts being made at a time when the forum needs more posts. And before somebody says about quality/quantity I know, but at the end of the day if you have a ghost forum then you won't have any quality posts made because there won't be the members left to make them.

Personally myself i'd allow post count in Spam to count, just maybe introduce a rule that you have to wait for somebody to respond before you can post again.

HabboxForum has to be the only forum I've seen who has these sort of problems where people complain about certain threads such as this. We either have them, move them all to a sub-forum with no post count or ban them altogether.

Instead of doing that why don't you help us come up with a good outcome by using one of the 3 suggestions Matt posted. Keep them as they are, ban them altogether or create a separate forum for them?

I know a few people in the moderation team agreed with doing this last time this propped up and some other members did like the idea too but it got turned down which was a shame.

That won't be the only issue here because that thread would then get derailed but it works on other forums, just not Habbox. You could also argue all of the other "Post Your" threads should be moved to spam such as the music one. Which If I remember correctly is what some members wanted as they didn't think it had any discussion purposes whatsoever.

But with threads such as post your favorite city etc people can then be like oh i went their its lovely etc and actually strike up a conversation with someone where as this type of thread for just images only is more pointless and stupid than half the threads in spam

If your life stops based on a thread being in a specific forum then that's perhaps something you should look into.

I have a feeling that a separate forum with no post count wouldn't work either since I suspect a lot of posts do not arise from genuine interest.

I personally would like a one post per page (Default posts per page) or one post per 24 hours (Whichever is sooner) limit on "post your" threads unless the posts directly involve discussion, particularly the ones which get a lot of traffic such as listening and watching. It's basically the same unspoken rule which the technology forum has.
