If a virus broke out tonight and in the next 45mins 1000s of people in your area was infected, what would you do?

I would either 1) I'd rob a car (haven't thought about how i would it exactly as i don't know how to..) then keep driving until I thought of a basic plan to survive 2) Give the lads a ring, have a meetup and sus it out together 3) Sit, cry and hope for the best and finally 4) Ignore it all and have a few games of fifa

If someone came to save me via helicopter or sommet (idk), I'd suppose I'd take up the chance. But ye, more than likely I'd be a coward and just die :(.

Would you be safe in your own home providing all windows and doors were locked? If not I would attempt to wake all my family up and tell my dad to man up about his bad leg so he could drive us somewhere. Either that or I'd attempt to run to my boyfriends house but 12 miles is a fair bit to walk.

If I could drive then I would get my family up, drive away and just find a safe and secluded spot where the virus couldn't really get us in the hope that none of us contracted it when attempting to make our getaway!

i live in a house where no one can drive so i'll probably wake up my family, make sure all entrances to the house are locked and boarded up, and hope for the best. i would then probably get onto the internet and find out what's happening and stuff. oh and i would probably have to say goodbye to all of my friends just in case any of us die. :(

I think about it, and I would like to venture out and take 'them' on. As far as I see it, if any sort of virus broke out, the chances are you'd know atleast one person who would be infected. Survival rates would be slim, and I wouldn't want to risk my chances by staying at home.

although, ignoring it and playing fifa sounds more likely to what i'd actually do.

kill everybody with my neighbours who are not infected and go to the supermarket and try to stock up some food then break into the police station and get some fire weapons then build a large border with something else idk then go online to check hxf

I'd 1) Find water containers and boil up as much water as I can and store it (lets be honest if its happening its gonna contaminate water). Non perishable food only, you're gonna be running for a long time dont take anything that will decay or get contaminated, canned food only.
2) Find blunt objects/projectiles, preferably a baseball bat (aluminium) and axe of sorts, a sword (which I know my neighbous have) a crossbow (again my neighbors have) Because crossbow bolts are reuseable as well as bow and arrow because arrows are reuseable
3) Pack a bag full of clothes (no jeans they restrict movement) strictly leather because its hard wearing and tough, bit harder for the zombies to bite through, also it retains heat well. Take a few tshirts and jumpers.
4) Go to the motorbike shop down the road to collect said leather clothes and steal a motorbike, people will die or ditch their cars in the middle of the road to try and save themselves and a motorbike is far more maneuverable unless a monster truck is at hand. Also get a pair or 2 of leather gloves, you dont wanna get that zombie **** anywhere near your hands as you're going to be eating with them.
5) Find survivors THAT I KNOW if you dont know them chances are they'd sacrifice you to save themselves.
6) Head to the nearest army camp, marine camp, navy base whatever get to a source of seniority that has power, weapons and most of all a safe haven.
7) Don't try to fool zombies by caking decaying flesh on yourself, thats contaminated and will get you infected. Et voila you're a zombie, lets be honest they're gonna stink so bad they'll probably not recognise you.
8) Play it smart, if the zombies main source of finding you is vision, dont start fires at night, if its smell dont wash they'll smell the cleanliness on you, if its sound STAY THE **** QUIET.
9) Don't go into dark buildings, you cant see what the ***** in there you will get eaten.
10) Only move during the day if you move at night you're screwed, some survivor might think you're a zombie and you're ****** or the zombies themselves will get you.
11) My last and final rule NO PETS, THEY'LL GET EATEN YOU GET EATEN. END OF NO PETS, NO EMOTIONAL ATTACHMENTS. IF YOU OR THEM.

Since I was introduced to The Walking Dead I have a plan,

Pack as much essential items as possible such as food ect, Older Sister and Brother do this with their house and families all drive the car to my nans where she had done the same.

Then we'd drive to the countryside somewhere away from the main infected areas.

I'd probably die. If there is a zombie apocalypse, eventually you're either gonna get bitten, go mad and die, die of starvation or thirst, or die of disease. So whatever you do, you will die? I guess you could fly abroad if someone knew how to fly a plane (cough) and hope the zombies can't swim through seas or whatever.

This question reminds me of the book The Enemy by Charlie Higson. Never read the end of it but the start was good.

In all seriousness, I would probably just panic. I think I would lock all the doors, barricade the windows and start digging myself some sort of escape route while slowly going insane.

nah i'd prob just run, they wouldn't find me in the woods ok. or just hide in my room, dying seems cool anyway, so i'd just wait it out in my room or die in my room. i would never survive in this.
