Okay this comes up way too often..
Is it possible for a less clunky mobile skin? I have no internet (apart from mobile) at my new house and so if I want to come on here I use the mobile skin. The problem is, the new skin just feels extremely clunky. You could make the navigation a pop-down menu (if you go to ozbargain.com.au on a mobile device and click the menu button; actually, like facebook even!) then that'd be awesome. I don't really want to have to load a new page just to choose from a few options that could be in a dropdown menu?
Also, the notifications take up way too much space imo.
I know it doesn't work anymore, but if there was a new version of the old mobile skin (not the text based one) that'd be sweet, by far the best mobile skin we've had!)
That's all I can think of.
edit: actually, if we could rep on the mobile skin that'd be sweet too!@

Yeah tried repping someone earlier and nearly ended up reporting them. Would be nice to have that feature back.
Also is there anyway to see User CP on mobile skin now?

I HATE the new mobile skin. Even legacy was better than the current one. I actually try to avoid hxf on my phone now. It actually displays gifs in sigs, so my phone basically goes WTF IS GOING ON HERE and freezes up. Really annoying.
Legacy had all the features I needed, plz bring it back?? xoxo
I also preferred the old mobile skin & now also avoid going to hxf on my mobile when possible as the new skin ... well .... i just dont like it!
I think you should bring the other mobile skin option back

The legacy mobile skin was stupendously broken and vBulletin's mobile skin is the officially supported one which will (hopefully) get better over the next few release cycles.
What I suggest doing is downloading the Tapatalk (http://tapatalk.com/mobile.php) or Forum Runner (http://www.forumrunner.net/) apps which will perform far better than any mobile skin could.

They only support iPhones + androids, blackberry users are completely fudged?

Just to note (if any devs are interested, of course), when the vBulletin official skin was pushed out I remember it missing a considerable amount of features such as reputation and private messaging so I recreated those features on the skin. I don't remember exactly which templates required editing but it was relatively easy to find out. Tapatalk isn't a great solution in my opinion because although it's feature full- it costs money. A small amount, but with a bit of elbow grease you can produce a really functional mobile skin.

It's obscenely over priced. Personally I would recommend just switching to IPB because in terms of interface I think they're much more modern in contrast to vBulletin in both desktop and mobile environments.

Yeh but it looks far better than tapatalk, plus it means the members / customers don't have to pay to use the forum on their phones.
Plus IPB is rank, vBulletin all the way.

IPB is nice but:
a) We need loads of people to either make skins or convert skins
b) Jin to sort out finance.

If people want it that badly we'll fix the bits the vB 4.2 update broke in David's mobile skin, we're working on V7 a lot right now though and have an internal deadline we want to meet so we're pretty busy.
I'd support an IPB migration 100%, vBulletin is awful (also skins are a lot easier to make for IPB IMO).

Actually would prefer the old skin.
Is it still an option for you guys to update the code :)? It's a nuisance having to go to two pages just to view new posts?
