Yes it will, they need to keep paying servers, staff and their office rents and no one is buying credits anymore, Sulake is dying, they will not work for free

What a silly thread, Sulake won't go bankrupt even with the mute they are still making a profit. Habbo will die your most likely right, but this year? Highly doubtful.

I doubt Habbo will go bankrupt. Maybe Habbo should invest in their own servers, for all hotels.

I don't think it'll be this year. They'd close international hotels before they closed .com for sure. I think we're safe for a little while, at least.

Most useless thread ever, Habbo sells credits 24/7 literally. They don't go a day without selling credits. Please get your facts straight and don't post ridiculous threads like this.

you really put no thought into anything you type do you... lol

fairly sure they had 30m+ profit last year, that may be hit a slight bit due to increased spending on moderation and a 2 weeks of less activity (and the fact that they're released several limited edition rares which will earn them a few k per item e.g. 1000 black dinos = 200 creds per = 200,000 credits spent within 1 hour (fairly sure it was 1 hour) assuming everyone got the 'best' deal for credits (490 for £50 = £0.10 per credit ish) = £20,408 income from one limited edition rare).

Now how many ltd edition rares were there?

So yeah they may lose a few sales (if even due to the fact they just re-released a ton of items such as games, and some new executive) but they're well up from previous months sales which they haven't done in previous years.

Sulake aren't going bankrupt anytime soon or closing...

Revnue from 2000-2010

2000 = £110,000
2001 = £260,000
2002 = £1,500,000
2003 = £3,000,000
2004 = £9,000,000
2005 = £20,000,000
2006 = £34,000,000

2008 = £42,000,000
2009 = £41,000,000

Clearly bankrupt :P And I'm sure (as Scottish said), that they did manage 30m+ last year.

According to Habbox, it's revenue. It may be incorrect labelling but I don't think it is. It says profit was;

In March 2011, Sulake announced that they had a €1.6 million net profit, €1million more than the previous year.

xD. So yes, they're clearly not doing awful.

yeah just noticed :P

2011 they had $78.7 million revenue lol

I wouldn't say this is ridicculous at all, some of ur facts are a bit completely wrong yes but the chances of habbo just failing cause everyone is quiting for other things is more than likely

no-ones going to "cry" when sulake announces habbo is closing in however many years, lol.

habbo will "close" when they start losing money, if sulake gets fed up they'll sell it on most likely.

but neither will be happening for years.

I don't know... Have you seen the people protecting Habbo in the Channel 4 Facebook page? They seemed on the edge of tears on day one of the mute :P Suicides will be the next step if Habbo closed (which is unlikely).

Habbo are in trouble, but they're hardly going to close this year or in the near future unless they royally mess up again after the mute. They've lost two huge investors, but presumably they've stock piled their resources over the years to be able to survive without the 26% of investments they lost in a week. Habbo is clearly popular and that will be enough to keep it going.

the people arguing on c4 etc are more mad at sulake as it was their decision to mute the hotel, they're just too stupid to realize it (they're most likely the 13 year olds that are engaging in the activity that C4 brought up)

Quite possible, and probably even younger judging by their behaviour :/ It is shocking how stupid they are. They are angry at C4, yet Sulake willingly muted the hotel and it looks as though C4 didn't know Sulake could even mute the hotels. Like you said, they do not realise who they are being angry at and for what reason.

As much as you might WANT sulake to go bankrupt, they won't.
