my favourite moments on the forum have probably been whenever i've been given staff permissions, haha! i get a little excited whenever i get promoted or given a trial in another department. i remember the first time i became a trialist events organiser in october 2009 (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=610336&highlight=-Confuzion) with roxy (under the name -confuzion which i resigned from) and then another trial in december 2010 (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=677656&highlight=DirtyConverse) (under the name dirtyconverse). so yeah, most of my memories on the forum have been in the events organisers section which has got to be one of, if not the best department at habbox. another memory is when i was promoted and became management which is almost a year ago (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=713383&highlight=) now.

hmm, one of my other favourite memories is probably just getting the chance to meet people and having some good discussions on the forum. i remember the time when i had a little argument in the music section over adele, hahaha. since then i've sort of realise to accept peoples opinions and *****. FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

Well done on the forum for reaching eight years, many more to come I hope. :)

My favourite memory i'd have to say were my days in the rare values department (first time) with Smiddy1234 and Mit + others. I'd say my best and at the same time worst moment on the forum was when the majority of the RV staff stood by me for something I (wrongly) took the heat for and i'm forever grateful to those who showed frienship and loyalty. Even if it is just Habbo, it was such a nice thing for them to have done because we were such a close knit group.

I have to say, i've tried other non-Habbo forums before and not one has ever come close to rivaling Habbox. I guess because there's just all different people on here and thats what makes it interesting, as opposed to a bland forum on one subject. To many more years anyway!

DJ-3000 didn't leave because of the radio. I don't remember all the details, but he secretly started a new site and took a lot of HxHD staff with him, and unfortunately deleted lots of threads in his departments forum.

The radio has a different story to tell. A lot of staff were fired or quit, it was a difficult time for those who stuck with Habbox.

I do remember loads, but don't wish to bore everyone ;)

When I first joined Habbox, if you mentioned Habbox Rare Values, there were some who would instantly kick you. In room descriptions some Habbos made it very clear, mention Habbox and you will be kicked. It really took time for Habbox to be accepted.

Properclone the first Site Manager was a legend, and no doubt set the standard for future Management. He was a very likeable character, intelligent and easy to get along with.

Who remembers when housekeeping on Habbo was broken into? Was it 2004 or 2005? Habbox staff were targeted. Properclone, sierk, jackhb, I think seacat too.

At that time Sierk had a very up to date museum, containing every item of furni that existed. Totally amazing rooms, they were set out like a catalogue, it also included every single HC gift. His rooms were deleted including his pet which had been purchased the first day of release. Sierk did rebuild the rooms after he was compensated, but I guess it would be impossible now to have an up-to-date museum.

During this time I worried I would be a target, but I was saved somehow, and one evening I was sat in a trade room, when much to my surprise Properclone walked in, I rarely saw him in trade rooms, as he was more into kick wars. I tried speaking to him and he ignored me lol. I mentioned it to him on msn, and he stated he hadn’t been on Habbo. He instantly signed into Habbo and found most if not all of his furni now in his hand.

I remember the early versions, very nostalgic :)

hmmmm, this may or may not be a figment of my imagination. Was one of the reasons Habbox got to control rare values was because Sierk became insanely rich from the thrones that were given out for Ione's birthday? May well just be a myth that he had rooms full of them haha

You don't know what housekeeping is? It's what Moderators use (and maybe Hobbas in the past i forget) to look at all Habbo records/ban people/edit room settings etc. It's used more now because very little mods go on the hotel so don't use in-client Mod tools.

With access to housekeeping, a normal user could do pretty much anything they wanted to on the hotel :L

Let me see if my memory is right. If for example thousands of Habbos titled their room 'Trade' then the oldest ie. first created would appear at the top if you searched. So obviously deleting them would remove them from future searches. I imagine whoever did it, did it just out of spite.

I remember the housekeeping hacks and sierk's museum. A shame it got outdated, but the last time I had a go at habbo was about 3 years ago and I couldn't keep up with all the furni. Somebody robbed all mine a few years ago and I never got myself back in the game after that as I had amassed a small fourtune :(

That really is from the past and it was either the first or second Lotto we ran, haha I remember sierk being quite excited. The idea to do the Lotto was bi!!y's. All I did was set it up. Didn't my room look lovely :)
