Has anyone ever got this, i've received this but I haven't even been hacked? I've sent in a request to customer support and now waiting upon a reply. If you've received it, how was it dealt with with you?


You have been banned! The reason for the ban is "Please contact player support to verify the ownership of this account". The ban will expire at 11/24/23 3:30 AM (GMT +0000) Eastern Time.

Never had it, but I think it's because you signed in from a different IP than usual.

I had that. They asked me questions I didn't know exactly (like what furni I had on there) so I just made a new account.

You cant say noone can get your account because alot of people can lol.

I could get most members from Habbo with the Help Tool Database that i own lol...

You'd be surprised about the info you can get from the Help Tool, that can lead most to get hacked.

I've never had this? I've constantly switched between here and a different IP address (diff. location) and have never been safety banned for it lol :L. But yeah, enjoy having to answer a load of qs about your account^ xD

You'd be surprised about the info you can get from the Help Tool, that can lead most to get hacked.

I can easily say nobody has accessed my account, thank you.

this new thing Habbo brought in, every time you log in from a different IP it asks you to say it is actually you (to stop hackers)

it's not exactly a ban, they stop you from trading and stuff, and it automatically sends an email, all you have ot do is confirm the link! I was just thinking if the OP had not verified the new IP or something more than once it might ban.... but I have no idea LOL

I had that. They asked me questions I didn't know exactly (like what furni I had on there) so I just made a new account.

I hate it when they ask you loads of questions that even yourself, the owner of the habbo, don't really know or remember haha!

It's good that they do this now because when I was hacked a while ago now and my account was linked with Facebook, they somehow unlinked it and I could not access it one bit, I contacted Habbo and I had to answer lots of questions to prove who I was such as when was the last time I bought credits, how? Etc etc

I've contacted customer services and I got the auto-reply asking me a load of questions. I answered that right away, but I know I'll have to wait forever now... :(

Yes it is good, but it isn't seeing as my account wasn't hacked it was practically given to me for no purpose what-so-ever.

well she put my first ticket as "solved" so i created a new one and said i'd like to deal with another staff member. then she said that i already have one open and i shouldn't create a new one.... so i said i only created one because you said my other one was solved when it clearly wasn't. then i went to the solved one and that's the one she's replied to... but she hasn't replied since the 25th so i might have to send another message and ask what the heck is going on...

Lol oh dear, she's got much worse lmfao. When she finally (if) sorts out your account lock, she'll say it's not locked and blame it on you knowing her :/ she did that with me and my perm ban. Yeah because i didn't notice i was banned for 1.5 years :rolleyes:

don't say "if" - be confident that it will be sorted, haha! :P lolol, it's probably a problem with the Yahoo email, but surely Habbo should be able to deal with this effectively and sort it out! :P

I'm sure ages ago I was recommended not to use a specific e-mail provider for Habbo because there were issues with password reset e-mails not being sent or something? Unsure what provider xD

I was always told not to use Hotmail - that's why I chose Yahoo! :P

Should have gone with AOL. Disgraceful.

Saying that, I switched from AOL to Gmail because I ended up with about 12,000 AOL emails and cba to delete them all xD

I used to use hotmail and I stopped receiving all my emails from habbo. It was such a kerfuffle and I lost loads of accounts during the merge :(

How did you manage to check your request if you're banned? I can't log into the help tool... I just have to reply to the email, but haven't got anything back :S

I haven't received this, yet today I'm looking after another house and it's giving me the Account Lock notification; yet I can still get on the client? Is that supposed to happen?... I think they need to check for these types of things.

Yes, you can still get on the client but you'll be unable to trade / drop furni in group rooms / buy new furni. The unlock email isn't coming through for me... been waiting about 2 weeks now.
