Hey,
This comes up time and time again. I just got warned for apparently avoiding the filter. I said 'fkin' and since 'f.k' is filtered I assumed so was 'fkin' it's just like 'wa.nk' and 'wan.kin'.
Can you add it to the filter and ask your mods to use their common sense when it comes to issuing warnings, it was obvious I didn't blatantly avoid the filter on purpose.
just type out the full word if you know its gonna be filtered. when you type fck how are people suppose to know you mean duck with a f as it only filters to three stars not four lol

It's filtered for a reason, they aren't meant to know what it says.
I thought the filter stared out words if it was even in the centre of a word. So fkin would come out **in. Pretty sure it used to do that, unless they changed it.

I too have had issues with this.

I'd have assumed all alternatives were filtered too so I agree

When someone avoids the filter they should only be issued a warning if it's blatant. Fkin isn't blatant, people shorten there words online, habbox know that. If I was like 'FÚCK OFF' then I should be warned because I went out of my way to avoid the filter.

Interesting, if the word had the 'g' at the end then it would of got filtered by the forum. I've changed it now so both ways get filtered.

Richie, I'd like to add two things to this thread. Firstly, you didn't get any warnings/infractions. Secondly you posted the word in question in two different posts so when you seen the first time it wasn't filtered - why did you use it again? Either way thanks matt :)

I don't reread everything I post. That's just silly.

A warning isn't a punishment, it's meant to inform you to be more cautious even if you think it should be filtered.

I'm not trying to be smart or sarcastic it's the truth. I genuinely didn't notice I swore. Do you honestly think I purposely went to another thread to 'avoid the filter' out of spite, lol?

Yes but everyone knows each warning adds up to an infraction. If I post pointless on like three occasion, get three pms, on my forth pm I receive an infraction (or something along those lines). I'm not too fussed about the pm it's just annoying how I got a telling off for something that should have been filtered to begin with.
