David wasn't an AGM then, he left that role a while back and stayed to an Occasional Techie role before fully leaving. So to prevent anyone doing that than the permission to delete posts would have to be removed from Admins, General Management etc.
Considering it's a well spelt out fact (In the TOS) that user submitted content will not be deleted it therefore serves no purpose for admins to even have that ability.
Further, since the bugs weren't actually fixed it seems to make no sense to close the thread.
