I've been using Chrome for a while on Android, so I'm used to being able to sync across all platforms, but can anyone here with an ICS phone and an iOS device tell me if they also sync between each other?

That's great, nice to see mixed platforms sorta. Does it work efficently and everything? Been thinking of getting an iPod and moving into the Apple world more lmao.

Not much sense since it still uses the safari rendering engine but I guess it's better ui, bookmarks etc.

Isn't the BBM service the only thing that's good on Blackberry and yet you can get the same on any other mobiles.

Blackberry to me is overrated and so is the iPhone, and Apple in general - good products but overpriced when you compare what else is on the market.

I hate bbm but i like the physical phone :) People aren't always going to think the same and everyone can shout about how bad blackberrys are but I've never had a problem with it that wasn't my fault :)

I'm torn here between Chrome and Atomic Browser. I like the Chrome UI better but I like in Atomic how I can set it up to open up and not reload what I was previously viewing, and I can also customize Atomic to not drop page caches like Safari does when available RAM gets too low. Oh, and on the iPhone it's not allowing me to sign into my Google account.

Thanks for the notice that browser changer's been updated to accommodate for Chrome :)

Now using Chrome on *all* my devices, it's so nice finally having all my bookmarks and preferences synced. Now all we need is for the mobile apps to be made compatible with the desktop Chrome extensions :P

Working very nicely with that browser chooser Stephen mentioned earlier on my iPad 3.

I never thought the screen would be a factor to me (I upgraded from a 1 so I really wanted the spec boost) but I have to say the number one thing I enjoy the most out of the 3 is that when I'm reading books the words actually look beautiful and more clear then anything I've ever seen. When I tried looking at the screen on my 1 after using my 3, I couldn't help but notice the individual pixels. Fortunately I can't notice the pixels like that on the iPhone 4, but that's because the ppcm on the iPhone 4 is greater than on the iPad 3.

I think I'll stick with Safari for now. Don't really see much point in switching since it's all still the same engine.

I'm now using it on both my iPhone and iPad after always using it on my laptop/PC, and I think it's great - much better than Safari imo, mainly because of the nicer UI.

Love Chrome for my S2 and it's the main thing I was looking forward to in ICS. I don't browse loads when on the go but it's great to know I can add stuff to favourites on my desktop and check them out on my break at work.

Actually main reason I probably haven't been using it as much is because there's been no WIFI at my Tesco until last week. Looking forward to being able to browse properly on my hour break.

I'm guessing it's called Chrome so the label will fit neatly on all phone screens

I'm not using Google Chrome on iOS anymore for two reasons:

1. Unfortunately it will not sign in on my iPhone (will on the iPad) and on both it's extremely buggy for me and freezes often when I hit enter after typing in a search, new url, or opening up a new tab.

2. Because of the nature of the Apple Nitro Javascript Engine, Apple doesn't allow its functionality in UIWebViews for which Chrome is a wrapper for. This means that Javascript executes extremely slow in all third party browsers on iOS so I might just have to stick with Safari unless I can find a jailbreak way around this limitation.

that happened to me but i got around it by getting a Application-specific password, have you tried that?

Yea this is what I had to do as well, for both iPhone and iPad separately.

Such a good browser. I've had it for a few days now and I love it. It's faster and I like the little things like swiping left and right to change tabs and how you can speak into the app and it will search it for you :)
