Everywhere I go online there seems to be a large amount of people hating on Macs, why? :| Macs do everything I want perfectly. I personally prefer OS X to Windows but that doesn't mean I hate Windows.

To be fair this forum seems to have a lot of Mac users so I may get biased opinions :P

Everyone has their own opinions and others are simply fanboys/girls who will defend a product they love until they die. I like both Windows and Mac (Not used Mac OS that much but from what I have used, it's very nice).

Mac users give as good as they get.

I like both, I was obliged to use Macs in media and I got used to them, only really used them for graphic programmes though.

I wouldn't say they hate them, just think they're overpriced.

It's not macs i hate... it's apple. But they are terrible laptops which are completely overpriced and overhyped. They have a few decent programs and effects but the basic laptop just aint great.

We have them at school so I've gotten used to using them more than PCs. Haven't really had any bad experiences with my MacBook Pro. .

I think they are overpriced but if someone wants to spend £1000+ on a computer they really want I don't really see the problem. It was either me buy a iMac or a cheaper PC when I didn't really want a PC.

As for hackintoshes I know full well I'm not computer savvy enough to make one.

In 2010 I bought a sony vaio and the graphics were awful on it, so I brought it back and got a macbook pro. I didn't really want to make the switch then but I am glad I did. I love my mac, the staff are really friendly at the genius bar, and I would hate to switch back to pc now.

Bought an 21.5 inch iMac today was £999. It's what I expected tbh everything works so fast.

I'm sorry, but that's entirely your fault for picking a laptop with a crappy graphics card...

Well it was a high end Sony, which I expected to be good and there were no other better laptops in store. I had insurance vouchers which needed to be spent as they had an expiry date.

We use them at school and they break down every two seconds. It's probably partly my school's fault, but it kinda put me off :(

Hmmm, that's strange, mine's great. The only time mine ever used to freak out was when I didn't format my Time Machine external hard drive properly and it kept having kernel panics.
