have you ever watched a horror film or something scary that makes you can't fall asleep?

and what movie was that??

when i first watched paranormal activity i really couldnt fall asleep, i have no idea why and tbh that movie isnt scary at all, i tried distracting myself and forget about it but it didnt work. i dont believe in ghosts but these ghost movies really creeps me out sometimes

Not really films as I don't watch horrors but maybe tv shows too. I remember I wasn't allowed to watch The Village when I was younger due to it being scary so if I had watched it I'd probably not slept :P.

Sometimes I'd be scared to dream about something I've seen in the movie though!

Yes. Paranormal activity.. It wasn't even that bad it's just the fact that it was set in the room I was in, it really creeped me out. :P I didn't sleep for that night and had a few nights where I took ages trying to get some sleep. OH, and Paranormal Activity 3 advert scared me enough to keep me up for half the night for a few days. :(

When I was a kid, I think I watched Halloween 3 and some other one where a woman in a green dress hung herself. Both of them scared the crap out of me and I couldn't get to sleep and was too afraid to even go upstairs in my house.
I hate horror films though. I never watch them.

Only ghost films but it's not a scared to sleep type thing it's more like I never sleep facing the wall that night in case a ghost sneaks up behind me and rapes me in the arse

I get really scared, I can usually sleep but I have to have the light on. I don't really watch horror films though as I don't enjoy deliberately scaring myself.

If I watch a scary movie before I go to bed then I might find it difficult to sleep, but other than that they don't really bother me. There is one one that comes into my mind though which is The Strangers. Scared the **** out of me. :P

omg, IT. I've only read like half the book but even that creeped the **** out of me, I can't imagine how horrible the film must be. Stephen King is supposedly one of the best horror writers and I believe 'It' was written by him.

Final dest. 2 is the only horror film I've attempted to watch and only got 30 min through :(. Oh actually, I got through Saw 1... but was more weirded/confused than scared/cringing.

I watched Casualty once and this girl fell over the banisters and was holding on and the episode ended with her falling. I only watched the end because it was before Doctor Who :P BUT OMG I WAS TERRIFIED (I was like 6 ok)

Recently I've been able to watch horror, some more than others. I cannot take any film that was in any of the Scary Movies seriously (eg The Ring) and, although my friends cower behind the sofa, I just laugh and laugh xP

Is the ring where people die if they watch a certain video? Or is this something else. If it is, even the advert scared me :(

You watch a video and then get a call from a creepy man saying that you have seven days to live. After seven days, a girl crawls out of your TV and kills you :)

JUST LEAVE THE ROOM, WHY DID YOU ENDURE THAT. The person who thought up that film is messed up mentally tbf, who in their right mind thinks "horror film... 3 humans as a centipede, done." I wonder how much money it took? -Googles urgh-

@BamitsElfie! (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=80588); Charlie omg, I just went googling for the Human Centipede and I found an incredibly weird... parody of it on wiki LOL. I don't even know if I'm allowed to post the name ;[ it's a porn film anyway lmfao.

Dr. Heiter kidnaps two young American girls and an Asian man, all of whom are unable to achieve sexual satisfaction through everyday sexual behaviour. He presents them with the idea of joining them mouth to genitals, so that they are able to continually pleasure each other.

What...why. Whut. The lengths people go to for porn? :S

Ok I just read the plot for The Human Centipede 2. What would possess a person to watch a film in which;

Two drunk party girls who catch Martin ************ with sand paper
Martin then wraps his ***** in barbed wire and rapes the woman at the rear of the centipede

Oh my goodness, this sounds very gory lol -
"Martin severs the tendons in each person's knees to prevent them from fleeing and uses a hammer to knock out their teeth. He slices open the buttocks of the victims using filthy kitchen utensils, and then uses a staple gun and duct tape to attach each person's face to the next person's buttocks.... .... Worried that her screams for help might be heard, Martin tears her tongue out with a pair of pliers."

Has anyone on this forum even watched no. 2

Lol - Martin - Bolt660;

I can watch any horror film at night apart from ghost films they are just creepy and weird. Like I am always the last person in my house to go to bed so the house is dead silent and you know when you just hear a noise and you're thinking but I'm the only one awake and like everyone is upstairs and it came from downstairs it's scary stuff. 13 ghosts and paranormal activity put me off from sleeping at night once!

i've never really had nightmares or had the case of not being able to get to sleep after watching films, haha. i'm not sure why but it's never been a problem. there were a few tv programmes which gave me nightmares though, and they weren't that bad :P

I couldn't sleep properly after I watched The Exorcist. The movie isn't as scary as much as being disturbing, like with the subliminal imagery and the part in the beginning where the priest sees that demon statue in Iraq and that music plays whilst some dogs are fighting nearby.
