how Habbo works? I remember the days when staff like Jibbi, Callie and lost_witness actually created decent rooms, now I see Habbo Staff with "starter rooms" and rooms that look like they're made by a 5 year old. Community standards, I don't think so. Take a look at this guy, and what the heck is with his name? Hilipatihei. Ok then. /rant

Did you ever consider the fact he may be new staff.

and wants to see how furniture works, or just testing the stuff out.

Inseriousity.

I'm not the best room designer in the world and I don't expect every single Habbo Staff to be experts at it either so long as they're experts at what they're supposed to be doing (moderation etc)!

This exactly. Who says you need to be an expert at 'Habbo room designing' to work at Sulake?

What on earth is that?? Perhaps he is new and learning habbo, as the above has said. :P

Does it actually matter if they don't spend time room building?! It's not part of their job description.

As above said, he might be new and i'm not sure if this is finished or not? :S

Anyone can do that, my 5 year old brother could do better than that. Thats terrible LOL. Makes habbo and staff look quite crap tbh.

It's just placing furni. It doesn't really look like he's made it for any particular reason so I'm not quite sure why people are complaining. It's nice enough to see him on client and stuff, I couldn't care less what his rooms looked like. :P

I don't care if his job description doesn't include room building lol but I would class it as community engagement tbh and if you're working with children on a virtual world like this then you might as well

I'd rather he spent his time checking that noone was breaking the rules than doing something as inconsequential as building a virtual room... they don't NEED a room so why bother?

Fair enough you want staff to create rooms that look entertaining/appealing and yes it is engaging, but those people you mentioned before have been Hotel Managers, not Moderators (ik Callie and lost_witness were previously hobbas lol, dk about Jibbi). So what if they don't have the best rooms,a moderators job is to keep the hotel safe not engage with teens via room creations. A hotel manager is more about community "engagement" as opposed to Mods, but silly Paul LaFo axed that role (HM).

At least they made an attempt aha? And as someone has said, many staff just place the furni to see how it looks in a room - I think GPN$ or something has a room full of furniture (some unreleased/branded) and it's not an attractive room, it's just for seeing how furniture looks/works inside the hotel.

Well, let's start off by looking at his motto.

He is a damn tester, not a bloody room designer.

And besides, they might be editing the room model... playing around with it? He's probably just testing the furni. :p

his motto says he is an official tester, so maybe he was just testing the new egyptian furni.

Better than nothing I suppose. But I don't get why there's a bathtub (or fridge for that matter) in the middle of the desert :P

he's a tester. do you expect him to make loads of beautiful rooms??

plus he's such a sweetheart, he actually spent hours contacting staff dealing with credits and communication because i was having a problem with buying credits

The rooms are not often part of competitions anymore. Nowadays they use new habbo's to create rooms and then export these rooms to the hotels, e.g. Kickwars Galatica by Airblender (which is Arne Turpijn (?) / Crowley from Habbo.nl - Regional Sulake Director). Another example are the FBPrizeWinner(s) rooms. Individual staff members do not create rooms for competitions any more, often, other people do it.

Exactly.
Some hotels even have a building team (regular habbos who get access to a staff made account and build rooms for them) which I would love to see on .com ;)

Also, the duck sphinx looks nice in client :p

I doubt he's finished or if he is, he's not planning to use it for anything and is just seeing how the furniture looks/works
