Maybe, it depends on furni ranges. As I know some others have said they wouldn't mind seeing a HxHD based in the new furni Habbo are releasing recently. But if you want to design one based on the Olympics, feel free and post it in the thread under "Cool Rooms".

would a shame if an Olympics themed room was not designed and utilized. Habbox should make the most of the actual games as well :).

Although it would have been even better if it was changed during the Hx Olympics!

I don't know what room you've been in but if it's the one I believe it is then that's not dark.

I've been to her competition room, and in my opinion, with all the red walls and floor in black, the room seems pretty dark.

My room (people keep referring to it as red's but it's MINE >: ) ) is a different shape the the current hxhd layout. dunno how much difference that will make. Olympics is so short so to make a completely new help desk for such a short period (bearing in mind it will probably actually be added about one week into the games) seems like a waste of time to me. Would be nice to see what we can come up with though.

Happy to take suggestions to brighten up the room!

The original plan for the Hx Olympics was to have an olympic-themed hxhd until summer. Sadly, due to the mute, how hard it was to do any decent trading during this time and no real layout ideas that would work, it was left alone. While Kyle and curse tea's room is very nice, I also think it important that layouts do not go completely crazy. Imo layouts should always be designed with the idea that if I wanted to host an event in there tomorrow it would be possible without a complete redecoration or too much faffing around.

pls dont use this as an excuse as the market place was working perfectly fine and they you could have got the furni way before the mute if you were actually serious about it.... there is also the trading section on the forum in case you forgot lol
i managed to trade perfectly fine by going to shops during the mute lol

The blacked out part of the room can serve as an event room on its own, it's around the same size as a normal room, give or take a few squares, as is the other area. The help desk would be in the savannah area, the rest is for decoration and people can swim in the water or stand on the bridge if they wish. Quite a few of the rock blocks would need to be taken out, the monkey cage would be gone and the van would probably be moved.

Here's me hosting an event in the room. No faffing needed!

I think Kyle's room should be used absolutely there isn't anything wrong with it and as above he's shown you can host events in there as well, but I really think we should take advantage with whats happening in the world and follow the theme of an olympic/sporty type room for the duration of the olympics. I don't see why people use the excuse of "it's only happening for 16 days" because we also celebrate Halloween and Easter and they are not exactly long holidays.

Adding a room with a small running track, maybe a pool, the rings for 16 days is fine and then for the rest of the summer (and more?) we could have kyles.

Just saying that I have the furni o make the Olympic rings and i could make a design around it if you wanted, can make rings in 15 min, I ha e Greek stuff and around the world collectivebles to help too.

I dont have any groups apart from one I use to store my wired but I think it would be best to make one the same shape as the current layout.

move the fire rings to the side where the door is (even if it blocks them, you can use wired to enter somewhere else) because it looks a bit off to the side and when the room is zoomed in you wont really see it as it will be off screen?

tbh man i have no idea how she did the rings and as far as i know we are looking for some black usva blocks to cover it like rakker did as green are ugly. by the door could look good but idk. if people join the group i will give them admin and they can play around. lets make this a community project lol
