The Hotfix.net website has posted a feature list that is expected to debut with version 8.0 of MSN Messenger sometime next year. While they hint that this is speculation and rumour, I am confident that this information is accurate.

While MSN Messenger 7.5 just came out, 8.0 is already being worked on and heading towards beta by the end of the year. A third party source whom is said to be from Microsoft has provided us with this information. Here's a list of possible and rumored features Microsoft is contemplating on going into the IM client:

MSN Messenger 8.0 wont be released until sometime in 2006, Im guessing/figuring when Microsoft Vista is released as on the beta version of Vista there is 7.5/8

They have released the 7.5 BETA version but its what Msn/Microsoft would deem a Taster of things to come, my poor descriptions dont do justice to what we can expect in Msn Messenger 8 :p

Im happy with my MSN 6.2. MSN 7.5 or what ever the newest one is corupts when I try to run it on my computer and when I try to re-install 6.2 it says I need the newest one in order to run MSN? So I just gave up on 7.5..
