It was changed because that's what a load of people now use to buy stuff on Habbo since they brought the exchange system in.

I don't remember the full facts, but Jibbi was involved somehow, and the scandal could of been part of the reason she left Habbo. Hopefully the facts or a story are somewhere to be found in the archives :)

Or someone who can remember it more clearly might like to post their version of the event.

I think you'll find it was James from [MSG//] and Max (>Max< from Habbox/Tex to the hacking world) that confirmed it first... when they broke into Habbo housekeeping...

They also proved a few other things... like a 16year old being made a hobba (Even though Sulake were forced to make the age limit 18+ after some girl messed up her exams while being on Habbo too much due to moderating the hotel).
And erm... proving a few other MOD private accounts etc.

And mhm I read about Y0RKIE dying whilst looking for old Hobba pics. I believe lilduckie (MOD I think) and snoopstar (Hobba) were also 2 more of the "well-known" deaths on the hotel as well. Snoopstar passed away in 2002 and lilduckie in 2002 as well. Extremely upsetting :(

The person who won was rightfully entitled to them, but I personally believe they should have let the draw "roll over" instead of rolling again on the spot. As for whether she should have taken back everyone who managed to get free credits, indeed she should have/alerted someone else at Sulake about it.

Was Jibbi a good HM overall? Haven't been around to experience any HM except Lost_Witness and the others after him (Kitano/Neja/Puffin/SmoothCriminal/Fozzie - I believe they were HMs).

Ione was probably the most honest and reliable of Hotel Managers.

Jibbi was Jibbi and sadly apart from the scandal I don’t remember too much about her, although I do have a trophy from her, which I won by entering Funky Friday.

Callie, well she loved fame haha. She was also very fond of males. I think she did a huge amount to promote the Hotel and the game was at its peak when she was HM.

Lost_Witness was previously a Hobba, I met him a few times before he became HM, and he was a fairly decent dj, and did a Sunday evening show giving away a throne from his own inventory to whoever could guess what would be no. 1 in the UK. I know very little about his role after he became HM.

i remember being in that first room and someone advertised a scripting program and i downloaded it and it was a keylogger. That was the first and only time i got hacked :'( i was planning on making a teleport maze and lost like 100 wardrope teles :(

I remember the hallways riots... I started the one about the navigator change (v3 to v4) haha... and I was present for the orange parasol release riot... but they always just use to message/ban us... never close the rooms, not even roommute us normally... although roommute only worked until people reloaded back then anyway. xD

A very good price for Green Parasols. Before the merge took place, I was collecting Purple/Yellow/Green parasols, and as the merge was announced, Green Parasols shot up in price since they were a super rare everywhere else. I sold them for a Throne each, merge came along, and it turns out the super rare Green parasol was turned into a different type of parasol, so I sold my normal ones for a great price.

They were going to be used for a Habbo competition, of spot the X :P, so only you and I knew the correct answers, redtiz too once we had given her the identities.

Looking at the screen shots here kinda makes me feel sad, and yet they were of happy times!

I have in the region of 8,000 screenshots from 2001-2010 (mostly 2004-2008) on backups of old hard drives and from various other sources. Gonna post a few here but if there's something you guys really want me to try to find I can have a look for it. Pretty much have screenshots of most aspects of the game over the years and in the region of 800 images from Habbos.co.uk/Habbos.ca/Habbos.net/Habboing.com. Bottom-left, is that a Spyro toy? I've never noticed that before... wonder if they got given them by nintendo when they released the Spyro (Dino) eggs? ^-^

I believe the person who sent me it got it from one of the fansites around at that time. I'm not 100% but I think one of the Habbos in the image was working for the fansite as a news reporter. I may have images taken at the same time hidden away somewhere, I'll see what I can find.

Yeah those screen shots bought back a lot of memories I the name rang a bell and I remember it quite clearly because I was helping Callie host the event. I think it was a race where you had to either come first, second or third for the gold, silver and bronze medal. It was hard!! Even experienced players couldn't win and you won so kudos to that! I added you on my account (cant remember what it was called, had ****loads of accounts) and you actually became a non-noob quite quickly I have to state to save you further embarrassment ;)
