For those of you who have no idea, and just clicked think link because there Grandma told them too..

This is a Thread about Alternative Rock Bands.

I see a lot of posts about the Black Veil Brides. I am a big fan, and would like to share my personal opinion about other bands.
This is how the messages I get from these three bands

My Chemical Romance: They do what they want, and don't care what other have to say.
"Listen up!
The future is bulletproof,
The aftermath is secondary,
It's time to do it now, and do it loud."

30 Seconds To Mars: They can break your bones, and tear you down but you get up.
Your breaking point is miles away.

"Come break me down,
Bury me, bury me;
I am finished with you

What if I wanted to fight.
Beg for the rest of my life,
What would you do?
You say you wanted more.
What are you waiting for?
I'm not running from you."

Paramore: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Love and loss seems to be the main topic of Paramore's songs.

Agree? Disagree? Leave your comment. :B I'm intrigued.

mcr turned crap years ago
3stm i can understand. they are good.

paramore, don't even get me started on how crap they are now.

if these 3 bands are the 'revolution' then we're all screwed.

each make incredibly catchy pop rock music, i've never taken anything they say seriously though, very cliche of me to say "it's all about the music", but i guess it is.

i've kinda turned off to a lot of rock bands, i find it a limited scene really.

agree, i'm a big fan of mcr and paramore so i'll comment on them as i've only heard one 30stm song.

the message i get from mcr is actually a gerard way quote, "don't ever let the media tell you what to look like. you're beautiful the way you are. stay beautiful, keep it ugly." mcr told me to stop caring about what people think of me so much and that helped me a lot.

paramore have been my favourite band since i was 9 years old, songs like turn it off and looking up are the only songs i've ever listened to that can make me feel happy again. in the mourning/landslide helped me quite a bit too as it was released like a few weeks after my grans death, i felt like that someone else knew how i was feeling.
