This is the second time this week for getting banned for a MONTH. First on PinkLumos cause i said sky pie (Friends and i asking if each other had skype) and then last night banned on my PinkLumosBanned account because i had just said the word sky. Guess i know now not to even say sky.. I wish they would just give you a warning, Which some seem to get, but not all.

The reason for this is habbo does not allow people to tell and ask for peoples skype. They are not stupid when you ask things saying sky.
Why don't they allow it? It has a cam and voice chat, which is against the habbo way to add people on these things. Its the same with MSN, you have free chat which isnt moderated by mods on habbo in which you can give any details. I know it's unfair for the older habbos, but this is to keep the community safe.

This is flaming ridiculous, I've asked for MSN and Skype plenty of times before this whole limited chat situation and it was all fine and fabulous. I see the harm if some paedophile wants to perv on children via cam but if you were discussing it with your friends there is no harm.
But then again Mods cant really tell who are your friends and you cant really prove it I suppose haha.

A difficult situation really. They can't tell the difference between genuine friends and those who have other things on their minds. If they are your friends, direct them to somewhere like Habbox and swap your skype accounts through that if you need to share your Skype.
