Think it is an issue with more than one spoiler on each page because my spam thread with one spoiler in it works fine. Will look in to it tonight when I'm back on a computer.

Jesus people... surely from the fact they stopped working it was obvious the code was being edited?

They now work properly, regardless of the number on a page and also work in the mobile skin.
