I still don't really understand why they dropped the "Mac" but, eh.
So, it has been released today. Has anyone installed it yet? I'm waiting for Tuesday (I get paid)
The notification centre looks dandy, bye bye Growl. The Game centre will be a nice feature on OS X too.
Gatekeeper is still a bit questionable but I will just disable the default option.
Any obvious bugs?
I might. It has dictation ooooh. I always wanted that but that dragon dictate didn't really work too well. I really really despite lion though. I miss expose so much and every since my safari reloads like 30+ times a day. omg

Just updated the iMac and MacBook, working perfectly on both with no problems, really looking forward to being able to airstream my MacBook to my TV via my Apple TV (just updating the Apple TV before I try that out now).

I'm honestly tempted to get an Apple TV because of that <3 D:
Well, the reviews look promising:

I wish I had more money right now >___<
If I bought this on Windows 7 would I be able to run it on a Virtual Machine?

i don't think there's a legal way to do it :') If that doesn't really bother you then look up youtube videos. Youtube videos are how I learn to do anything on a PC/Mac.
How long did it take you guys to download/install it? I may just buy it now but cba for hours of installation time.

Ive installed like 4 different versions but none of them work on Virtual Box or VM ware :(

They've re-themed the default dock, I believe. My only complaint in general:
In Snow Leopard, functionality existed such that you could:
- Reposition desktop spaces whilst in the "mission control" view
- Drag windows on any given space into any other given space in "mission control" view
- In a multi-monitor configuration, drag windows from the current space on one monitor into another space on another monitor.
Upon upgrading to Lion, all these functionalities were removed. They were not reintroduced in Mountain Lion (you *can* reposition spaces in ML, but you cannot reposition the first space).

I've decided that I like the new dock :) It's nicer than the old default dock imo. For some reason I can't change the Trash icon :| I had a custom one in Lion.
I really like the "show all tabs" feature in Safari.
I also really like the download progress shown beneath the downloads folder:

Is it just me or does iTunes load faster?

downloading now. but my amazing internet speed means that it'll finish in around 15 hours (started the download early afternoon). not expecting anything awesome from lion tbf. i think i'll find it handy since i also have an iphone and ipad, but that's about it really...

Wow O____O I thought mine taking 3/4 hours was bad enough.
You can get it to work fine in VMWare Workstation if you google and find a patch for VMWare workstation that unlocks support for OS X on Windows hosts.

Yeah I've fixed it now, it's because I didn't have BIOS enabled so I enabled it and it worked :)

Installed it yesterday seeing as I got it free with my recent mac purchase. The notification centre is a nice add on and dictation would be very useful for some users.
For me personally it isn't much use but still has made my machine more faster and stable I guess. I'd recommend the upgrade especially at the price. Cant go wrong.

Dictation doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying :') Sometimes it does but other times it comes up with complete crap.

Question!
If I buy this from the app store on my Pro, would I have to pay for it again to download it on my iMac?

I believe you can install it on more than one Mac, not sure if there is a limit but it can be done.

Just got the OS testing dictation now I am wondering how do I set up Facebook and twitter to the operating system so that they can tweet from within.
You can install it on more than one Mac just make sure you're signed in to the Apple ID that had the purchase.

What is with Apple and introducing new updates that have battery issues.
