Hey guys, my name is Oidz on the hotel. I remember being a part of Habbox many years ago when the homepage used to be Sierk sitting on his throne haha, how years have gone past so quickly. I think the last time I actively used this forum was around 2007. But I think I joined Habbox around 2005 period.

Anyways I joined Habbo on my first account which wasnt Oidz in 2003 when Ione was around. Soon after it became Jibbi, Callie (Hated her), Lost_Witness and I dont know who after that because I lost interest.

Just really want to reminisce some times with people whether it was about the 2005 Habblympics, Soapbox with Dionysus, Hobbas, and also I recall Evolution becoming Hotel Manager for one week. So many memories I have had growing up with this game would be nice to chat to some people who also come from my time period of this game. :D

( And my name is Oidz3 because Oidz and Oidz2 were both accounts I had over the years and each I forgot the password due to long inactivity haha, sorry! )

Omg, trip down mmemory lane. Weekly newsletter, yeh on that Orange Homepage with a star shaped login for Habbo Hotel. I use to love the Newsletters because it was interesting information or maybe because I was a kid I found it interesting. I remember doing Funky Fridays aswell which was alot of fun. I remember the old console, Wobble Squabble, Battleball - omg so many memories its unreal haha.

I remember how we were all on one hotel, then they expanded and built more, then they merged us again lol. I remember the Habbo Credits Line, I think the number started with 09057 or something like that and a woman would pop up saying " Thanks for calling the habbo credits line, this call will cost £1. If you do not have the bill payers permission to use this call, please hang up now." and when you use to buy credits i loved the KACHING noise when your credits filled up in your Habbo wallet, was a nice change from the horrible flys ;D...

Connect 4, haha yes I did indeed... It was the one with the lodge bars surrounded it and I gave you rights and one person had black mats, the opponent had whites. You would then put them in the centre square to try and get a Connect 4. This was before rollers and that were introduced. Cant believe you remember that. ;D

Back in the day I use to own alot of game rooms such as Beat the bunny, Bank Robbery, Connect 4, Mario Karts, were to name a few. When I was younger I use to love making games, and when they became popular, was a great feeling.

It was very innovative at the time, how could I forget! :) There have been various remakes, even one with wired furni recently. You should think about coming back and building some more game rooms, I'm sure they'd become very popular :)

Definietly in the not so distant future I would be up for making some game rooms again. Just hope Habbo can go back to normal, and would like to see Wobble Squabble to return as well. Had so much fun playing that and Battleball.

I'm around, just visiting though. Things to jog people's memory are in my signature, but I don't expect many to remember now as all the 03 people that were in high school at the time are all old and grey now and likely not even thinking about habbo. I came on and it's drastically different. I do think getting rid of hobbas was a mistake, but to assume that it was because they were a security threat is ridiculous. They did it because they wanted an easier to maintain moderation system that didn't have to take a lot of manpower but be as efficient. Contrary to what some believe, becoming a hobba and the training involved was extensive. It was a huge accomplishment.

Ah, the old HabboHood Happenings ;) It was one of the best things about Habbo, when that was removed I shortly gave up hope on it.

Fifty badges to be allocated to those that helped, and yet we had some 600 odd all wanting the badge. Was even offered a bribe from a very well known Habbo, haha, what an idiot thinking he could bribe me.

Around that time was probably some of my favourite memories in habbo, especially the resort.

Just wondering, do you ever know what happened to I think her name was AuntyFrog or something along those lines, She was such a lovely person I used to love her radio shows for the resort, and I remember once she just disappeared.. Always wondered what happened to her.

What events do you guys remember?

Habboween events dating back to 2006 I remember a few especially the one with the 'Halloween teeth' badge.
Evolution becoming Hotel Manager for a week.
Christmas events hosted by Jibbi in 2004.
Callie and Lost_Witness Habbo Olympic events. I got down to the final three on the massive circuit run and came 3rd.
The Salon competion
Habbowood competition, where you create your own film.

my personal favourite campaign was the st trinians one, was on the green team with topmantim as our prefect, they really encouraged people to team up and just have a good time really! same goes for the battle of the resorts, i was supporting the clubhabbo resort, then when this random seven star resort that i'd never heard of came out of the blue winning he competition i was furious! i think habbox had their own resort as well didn't they?

Oh yeah Alex, what can I say its been a long time aha. And same Jimi, I should of won a badge but I didnt. But I remember Lost_Witness holding a marathon and it was a massive circuit you needed to keep doing over again. I did it for hours, but at the same I was younger so I had to get up for school etc, so I had to come off and came third in the end which was dissapointing because I didnt win a badge :'(

Some are dated back to 2005, which is seven years ago which meant as Im nearly 18 turning 19, I was aorund 11 nearly turning 12. Although I wasnt new to Habbo at the time because I joined when I was 9, I was still quite young and my grammar and immature really shows in some of the threads. If any of you guys are bored and want to see some funny stuff than please go to advanced search and type some of them names in and prepare to be amused :)

aw this thread is nice, remember first playing habbo late 2002 with my friends at school when I was 12, my first habbo was beth5678 and then moved onto such stunners as cheeseandonion (a fake boy account me and my friend shared to go and find gfs in dating rooms looooooool) and cutiepie1357 (used for getting adopted.....) and then settled on model-dreamer for a good couple of years.

got involved with help desks (with a girl called caliie/calisse she was pretty popular good friends with blackmaggots or w/e)

then moved onto tidy-mess won a competition on habbohut with jibbi, got rich (haha) got into the 'revenge' crowd dunno if anyone remembers that game but it was basically fastest typer/quiz. changed to environmentally and then finally publicised.

had some great great times.
